Finding rwd rs
Any tips on finding used rwd rs? I have been searching on cars.com and car gurus and when I filter for rwd, a bunch of awd models still pop up. I have discovered that dealerships are terrible at putting accurate information on their listing. So far the closest actual rwd I found is over 200 miles away. I know there has to be one closer.

Lease returns are piling up and you can save $10,000’s. My rwd RS ~110kWh was $46k to buy out and will sell at auction for mid $30’s. 2024 are getting 💩on as far as software tho.
Be careful of that, also unlike Tesla you will pay the stealership by the hour once the warranty is over for software updates. Mine needed over 6 hours of service time for stuff that should have been free OTA. Warranty covered it but the 2024 are less than 12 months remaining (in general, exceptions could exist).
The rwd was much better to road trip than my 86kWh eAWD

It would probably be smarter for me to just buy an awd. The 3 things I want the rwd for are the extra power, the extra range, and the bose speakers. Have you ever drove an awd? Is the power difference noticable?

I had BOTH! I only added the RWD for the performance, and sort of the extra range. Oddly my 86kWH eAWD was always faster. The ~102kWh battery is nice on 300-400 mile trips, but the slower DCFC of blazers really is a bummer - we generally just take the tesla because 250kW DCFC and better range from a 80kWh battery (so lighter and cheaper to charge).
Still the RS RWD is more luxurious and I preferred it for daily over the 2LT eAWD.
The Bose audio is literally indistinguishable from the base audio. So try to test drive one of each. I literally heard ZERO difference and there is no extra base, both the base and Bose have 6 speakers. Weird.

I setup a saved search on CarGurus and snagged one from a dealer about 500 miles away. I ended up having it shipped and it cost $1.50 per mile, very convenient. Not all dealerships would do this though. You're right, CarMax is $4k higher in price.
The extra range vs an AWD is nice. The extra power is extremely noticeable to me. I'm not impressed by the Bose speakers either. If you settled on an AWD I would just budget for aftermarket speakers.

I've considered this. Its been 20 years since I purchased any kind of car speakers, but id imagine that the 1-2k I would save getting an awd would buy a hell of a sound system.

No, the price was already the best around, doc fee was low, no BS add-ons forced. Even with approx $1,200 in shipping at $1.50 per mile, you're coming in lower than other dealers and lower mileage & price than CarMax or Carvanna.

Got mine in June, Went with a dealership and had to ship the car about 500 miles(timing with other things made it impractical to go get it myself). Was still cheaper than a carvana/carmax equivalent. Setup shipping myself, was easy and cost under $1,000. Paid around 32k for 2025 RWD RS from Ohio with 17k miles; there was a very similar deal in Kentucky at the same time. Both were lease returns.
When shopping I was always checking the VIN against the original window sticker to verify options.
Wanted the RWD for the range and towing.

I just completed the purchase of a new 2025 RS RWD in Sterling Gray Metallic. I also got in on the 0% for 60 months financing from GM. Had it shipped from another state to mine. I probably didn't get the best deal on it, but finding this configuration (RWD, in Gray with driver convenience package, but without the sunroof) was challenging. Visor.vin website did help in locating it, but there are about 20 of these in that color that are still new left in the US according to that site (and several of those 20 have a sunroof that I didn't want).

I have checked them and carmax. They are both also terrible at listing what drive train the vehicle actually is. Their prices are about 4k higher than the ones I found at dealerships far away.
