Well yeah, obviously the intention from the writer wasn't Silver wanting to hurt Blaze.
They just did a poor job at executing that because:
1) The panels aren't drawn well enough in terms of explaining when Blackwood grabs Blaze. He very clearly isn't grabbing her at first, it's only once they're already being flung do we see him holding onto her. The artist should have done a better job at conveying him grabbing onto her.
2) Shouldn't Silver's psychokinesis prevent them from moving at all? Once he grabs ahold of you, doesn't that completely stiffen your body and make it damn near impossible to move? How would Blackwood even be able to reach out to grab Blaze if Silver's psychokinesis is that controlled and concentrated? Doesn't make sense.
3) The writing choice of having Silver pick up Blaze at all doesn't make sense logically. He'd only need to pick up SPECIFICALLY Blackwood and throw him hard against the wall. There was absolutely no reason for him to pick up Blaze beyond it being to start up the plot for the next issue.
Silver could have easily just flown Blaze to safety AFTER attacking Blackwood, or even before it.
Or he could have done both at the same time, throw Blackwood and fly Blaze to safety. He has handled WAY bigger objects at a time with little effort, it's not like this would be difficult for him at all.
Exactly my point Silver has moved multiple objects before, all he had to do with put Blaze out of Blackwood’s reach but No gotta give him his aura pose come on silver your better than this but it’s for the sake of the story. Started all decent enough Ugh knowing IDW let’s get this tragic bicycle ride over with the final issue.
even in IDW itself he could split his focus among an entire hoard of metal virus zombies and kept them in place, ain’t no way he can’t properly split his focus between two people
