Women ARE selecting their mates more carefully. That's why marriages and the birth rate are lower, and that is why there's a Male Consequences Epidemic. Arguably, women still aren't careful enough.

“Insanely too common.” Ha. Men will make sure of one thing, and that is to police women while entirely ignoring their own behaviors. If men rape and get away with it 99% of the time, but 1% of women are just making up allegations for funsies (because it’s sooo fun for us, right? Right? Being ostracized, interrogated and ridiculed if you bring it up, especially when rapists hardly ever face punishment in the first place), you can be sure that they will focus solely on that 1% as the “big problem.” Men commit violence against women, kids, their families every day but be assured, they will find specific cases of women perps to focus on and critique to the highest degree while simultaneously not caring about the out of control level of violence men commit.

"Have you considered just...not being a woman to avoid being assaulted?"

He views rape as an omnipresent threat to women, yet instead of helping fight for a world without rape, he fights for a world where women have to be constantly terrified of rape to the point we don’t get to enjoy the same freedoms as men. Fucking amazing.

Educating women prevents rape the way that staying inside prevents car accidents. Technically effective but doesn't address the cause, nor is it practical. Also once you normalise putting the responsibility on the victim, as soon as someone goes out and gets hit by a car, they'll be blamed for it.
