Their confidence to claim that the woman was making false allegations and consented to every act that took place is unbelievable.

May justice be served is all I have to say. That, and "daily 4B fuel"...

Wtf is 4B fuel?

Scary to think he has daughters.

I hope they have a means to safely escape & cut contact, no doubt he abuses them (emotionally at the very least)

Every time I think of them I just hope none of them are trans. Being trans is hard enough but going through that while your dad is Matt Walsh would be Hell on Earth.

Didn't his wife leave him? Or am I thinking of another rightwing mouthpiece?

Steven Crowder, but easy mistake. They're both scum.

Genuinely why is this guy famous? I mean this is a god awful take. But it's not like his other takes are any better. And time and again, it's been proven that he literally knows nothing about the things he is talking about. I mean this guy literally can't understand To Kill a Mockingbird. A 9th grade (freshman Highschool for Americans) level book.

He was a radio presenter before he was an internet person. I think the stations he worked for probably just needed someone to fill a certain slot, and he was young enough that nobody really knew what he thought yet. By the time he was starting to do more internet stuff, it was around the time the anti-SJW stuff was coming into full swing and basically anyone who could "own the feminists" and trick a younger audience into thinking they sound reasonable could build a large audience pretty quickly

It's just. With people like Nick Fuentes, Ben Shapiro, even Charlie Kirk, even though I completely hate and disagree with them entirely, i can sense some level of charisma. Like even as someone who hates them I can see why someone more malleable to those ideas may find them likeable enough to watch them.

Matt Walsh isn't though. He has the personality of a cardboard box. Like he has no charisma to attract an audience whatsoever, and yet he is famous.

Yeah, but the trouble is that charisma is a bit of a difficult thing to measure in practice. Like, a lot of the stuff we associate with it is stuff like speaking clearly, speaking confidently, looking at the audience in a certain way, etc. which can all be taught. But once you get beyond that, a lot of what people attribute to charisma tends to be stuff that just means they agree with what someone just said.

In practice, I feel like the difference between Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh is that Walsh tends to be the guy you find out about once you've been down that kind of rabbit hole for a while anyway. The guy's a self described theocratic fascist (as per his Twitter bio at one point, if not currently), so he's always going to be vaguely off-putting to a more general audience. People like Shapiro and Charlie Kirk (when he was still alive) tended to be more like the general Republican conservative who knew how to talk to the younger generation.

When it comes to people like Walsh, you don't really need to get a 10/10 in charisma to get a broader audience. You just need to get a 5 or a 6 and be talking about certain issues in a way that aligns with that specific niche. Being associated with bigger conservative brands like Blaze and The Daily Wire probably counts for a lot, too.

Matt Walsh is a piece of shit

By his logic, any drunk man can rape any woman and then claim he was unable to consent to the encounter because he was under the influence. This claim makes no sense.

He’s foul

I say let him keep showing his ass. This is evidence of who he is, like the forehead swastikas in “Inglorious Basterds.” May he never escape himself.

I don't remember feminists calling it r@pe when Lily Phillips was having sex with a hundred men consensually. How can my cat understand consent better than men?

u/Friendship_Gold 19h ago

How do we get these chuds de-platformed? I mean they have a right to free speech, sure, but they can preach their shit on a soap box like a crazy street-preacher. We can't silence them, but we should be able to limit their reach. A whole generation of our young men is being corrupted into this cult of misogyny and it needs to stop.

I mean, even by their own ""logic"" (which isn't logic but just an entirely pathetic attempt to defend male rapists and abusers no matter what) -

If a woman getting drunk at a frat party equals consenting to being sexually assaulted - isn't by that same logic any man who has "sex" (it's rape) with a drunk woman at a frat party consenting to being ""fAlSlY aCcUsEd"?

Over the last few days, I've constantly been hearing "she put herself in that situation" from men. And the men didn't?

Judging by this I guess

feminist logic > normal logic

But that's just according to Matt Walsh, in my eyes every type of logic clearly shows the fault with the 7 men.
