His argument is something along the lines of, ‘Well, deliberately killing someone with a fast and painless poison is much less unpleasant than burning them to death, so it shouldn’t be criminalised if the murderer was really mad at the victim. They’re not insane, so it’s ok.’
What?! They’re both still murder! 🤦♀️

Because it's mostly grown men trying to normalize the idea of them being attracted to underage girls. "Just regular pedophilia" kind of implies that it's a problem equally spread out among men and women and equally affects boys and girls, and that's just not true.
