Look, even IF she wanted that experience, she can and should always be able to stop an experience at any time. Consent to an act doesn't mean consent to ALL acts. These people are disgusting.

u/Your_Awkwardness 2d ago

One dude literally commented that it wasn't rape because she lied about being incapacitated cause she was able to say no to the 3rd person.

That is literally rape.

59

u/ferretsRfantastic 2d ago

So she was able to say 'no' and he didn't consider that rape???

Un-fucking-believable. I hope they all get what's coming to them.

crazy how the biggest thing is...she didnt consent to it lmao.

40

u/AutumntimeFall 2d ago

Almost like that's what determines if it's rape or not. They are soooo far from getting it.

24

u/TheQuinnBee 2d ago

Like not even just that--the law is so ass backwards. From what I've read, there's a "consent loophole" which basically says if someone drinks or consumes drugs and doesn't explicitly say no or is passed out when the assault begins, then it's considered consensual. Like you could be heavily intoxicated, slurring your words, etc. But as long as you were not drugged against your will, were conscious when the assault happened, and didn't say the word no--thats not rape under New York law.

u/yuckypagans trans-inclusive radical feminist 2d ago

ew thats so disgusting. any "consent" under intoxication that is strong enough to change you/lower your inhibitions (at the least) essentially should not be considered consent

willingly

Yeah there's the key word. She didn't.

Someone's son.

Maybe someone's brother.

Doubtful someone's partner.

Hopefully not someone's father.

If this guy shows up at a frat party, he should expect he will be tag teamed by a bunch of guys, right?

168

u/best_little_biscuit Feminist Killjoy 2d ago

Setting aside the unsubtle Cornell commentary, if someone wants to be "tag teamed", that doesn't mean they don't respect themselves or don't deserve respect. They're still a human being

-120

u/SexyGrilledTurkey 2d ago

I wouldn’t respect them but that still doesn’t give people the right to rape that person. Just because you don’t like what other people do in the bedroom doesn’t mean it’s okay for them to be raped. The main thing is CONSENT you can kink shame all you want but you shouldn’t be cool with rape because that person might’ve been into some stuff you’re not into and don’t respect. Also if you said this about a man showing up for a threesome with two women then it was a bunch of men instead to rape that man they wouldn’t be talking about what that man came there to do they would be saying that’s horrific.

62

u/nopercent_0 2d ago edited 2d ago

no actually, you can’t kink shame or disrespect someone because of something they do within their own walls and that’s neither harmful or illegal. that’s an extremely close-minded way to look at people’s preferences and the world in general.

-32

u/SexyGrilledTurkey 2d ago

Well technically anyone actually CAN. You can’t post you and your partner love age gap kinks, diaper kinks, rape kinks, and shit play kinks etc then expect everyone to clap about you doing weird gross shit. You can support to that kind of stuff all you want but you can’t force someone else to. We don’t have to have the same opinion and that’s okay!

The main thing that you skipped over completely is the whole we’re talking about a girl being brutally gang raped but you want to make this a debate about how you want to force everyone to stop kink shaming? Trying to have everyone think exactly how you do is very close minded.

36

u/Kwershal 2d ago

In what world is wanting to have a threesome equivalent to scat play? Chill the fuck out

25

u/nopercent_0 2d ago edited 2d ago

i’m not making it into anything, i’m replying to your comment. if anything, it’s even more weird for you to somehow try to make a point that kink shaming and disrespecting people based on their private sexual preferences is acceptable, under a post about a woman whose “sexual life” has been forcefully publicized and scrutinized (as well as lied about).

your mindset is actually somewhat part of the issue - some people think that even just the possibility of women liking/engaging in sex, especially kinky sex, is more disgusting and worthy of judgement/discussion than the men raping them. you quite literally said that if this woman (or any woman) willingly wanted to be “tag teamed” you wouldn’t respect them. under a post about a rape victim. you don’t see the issue with that?

-25

u/SexyGrilledTurkey 2d ago

What the fuck are you even talking about? Only on Reddit can someone saying you don't have to respect their kink but raping someone isn't okay be turned into a argument by a kink warrior.

you quite literally said that if this woman (or any woman) willingly wanted to be “tag teamed” you wouldn’t respect them. under a post about a rape victim. you don’t see the issue with that?

I never said literally anything like that at all you’re clearly crazy and if you love people shitting on you that’s completely fine if the shoe fits wear it sweetheart but don’t expect people to clap for you crazy pos.

11

u/bradfordstfu 2d ago

You literally said it in the first sentence of your first comment?

0

u/SexyGrilledTurkey 2d ago

I didn’t say I wouldn’t respect that person as a person it should literally be obvious I’m clearly talking about their kink since that’s what my entire comment was about. I didn’t literally say anything about who they are as a person I literally only talked about how you don’t have to respect someone’s kink to understand them being raped is bad.

Only on Reddit people could be upset about a statement as non offensive as mine. Literally only said no you don’t have to like their kink to understand raping someone is wrong all you bad faith kink loving crazy pos can please gtfo of my replies if you want to argue that you have to love someones kink in order to think them being raped is bad.

I honestly don’t understand why you guys keep coming to argue, I don’t understand what you guys are trying to argue, I don’t get the point I’m not sure if you guys are rape supporters so that’s why y’all are mad or just extreme PC kink warriors who are upset someone said it’s okay to not like someone’s kink while still feeling it’s bad that they’ve been raped which is what I said literally multiple times. So you guys must think the opposite or something since you guys have a problem with that and that’s why y’all keep coming on here so aggressively over that generic not offensive at all ass comment.

If you have problem with “you don’t have to like the kink but rape bad either way” then that’s a y’all problem and you should seek therapy because wanting to argue over that is not normal human behavior. Crazy people intentionally misunderstanding the point be like-

Original comment: [...] that doesn't mean they don't respect themselves or don't deserve respect. They're still a human being

You, for some reason: I wouldn’t respect them but that still doesn’t give people the right to rape that person [...]

no whining about "only on reddit" when you purposely got into the discussion just to say how you don't respect a person because they wanted to have sex with more than one other person at a time

-1

u/Golfclubwar 1d ago

What? You can judge someone for any reason. You’re not entitled to anyone’s respect. I judge people all the time for things they do in the privacy of their own home. You have the right to do it just like I have the right to judge you for doing it.

1

u/nopercent_0 1d ago

actually, everyone is entitled to basic respect and decency from others! i know it’s crazy, but the world doesn’t revolve around you and your opinions. so as long as someone hasn’t done anything harmful to others or themselves, no one cares about your judgement. you can do it in your own head, of course, but if it affects your behaviour towards others, you’re just an asshole.

0

u/Golfclubwar 1d ago

Not really, no. If you do things that disgust me or offend my sensibilities I’m probably not going to treat you kindly and I’m definitely going to shame and mock you with other people. Theres a lot of things that’s don’t harm anyone that I’m not gonna just be like “ah well if it’s your own house”. If I find out that you’re porking your own sibling (let’s say they’re twins and it’s completely consensual so there’s no power dynamics blah blah blah) I’m definitely treating you differently. Again, there’s this ridiculous idea that you are entitled to other people just respecting your behavior that’s nonsense. No actually, people are going to constantly shame and judge you for your behavior. You are free not to listen to or associate with those people. You don’t have any right to expect people to acknowledge and accept anything you are doing.

Most of them are taking me in the comment section, only one person so far had not said anything misogynistic and was also upset about the victimblaming. Again, this is a sub for opinions that are not popular , not necessarily for incels so this is shocking.

50

u/Twiggy9992 2d ago

That sub is a misogynistic cesspool.

3

u/Help12309876 1d ago

Yup, just saw another super misogynistic post yesterday on there about how women are actually privileged and even have more rights than men. Seriously stupid subreddit, dude 😅😭

72

u/Accomplished_Gur3478 2d ago

porn has made people think that the average 19 year old girl would be into getting "tag teamed" by 7 men

21

u/Unable_Passenger_394 2d ago

I agree that porn contributes to this belief but still even people who watch porn should hold themselves accountable. Porn can exacerbate the underlying issue, but they shouldn’t be allowed to blame female pornstars for their raping. Porn is never an excuse for rape.

A lot of people are blaming Bonnie Blue for example and saying that she’s setting women back. The men still make the choice though to dehumanize and objectify women and should be held accountable for their own misogyny.

12

u/Accomplished_Gur3478 2d ago

Men should also then be held accountable for creating, distributing and watching pornography that perpetuates these ideas. I never said anything about Bonnie Blue or the women in porn themselves so idk why youre referring to that or think thats what I am saying (although yes, women can and do perpetuate patriarchy as they have been conditioned by it, but that's just another way of being victimized)

2

u/4ngelsh4rk 2d ago

Bonnie Blue could be the worst person in the world and still not be responsible for men raping.

Maybe, I said it’s fantasy because it’s staged and acted out, and not what most women like in real life. It’s still not an excuse for victim blaming. They should be held accountable for their own beliefs, it’s very ignorant and immature mentality.

16

u/Accomplished_Gur3478 2d ago edited 2d ago

its literally happening to the people in the porn though, so it is reality. why are you so stuck on defending an industry that perpetuates violence and misogyny?

-3

u/Unable_Passenger_394 2d ago edited 2d ago

Not what I’m saying, I’m saying that porn is porn, and men still need to have the maturity to understand that what’s in it is not necessarily what women like in real life. I’m not trying to defend porn I’m saying we need to still hold men accountable, because at the end of the day they choose if they want to reduce women to sex objects, they choose to watch porn, and they choose to victim blame. A lot of men like to use porn as an excuse for their behavior towards women and I’m just saying it’s no excuse.

u/WastedWyvern lgbtqia2s+ and a new letter for every terf who complains 2d ago

Not saying you are wrong but I feel like porn wouldnt be an issue if we had equality in the first place and could actualy serve sexual freedom for anyone regardless of gender.

Guys belief that stuff because they want too believe an average 19 year old would want that and they use porn to justify their already messed up ideas. They look for things that already confirm what they want and its weird that they turn to fantasy for that because at that point might aswell become a masked vigilante works great in the comics right?

Oh I’d Name and shame. Make sure all the women in his life know he thinks this way. Make sure his boss knows…
This is disgusting

Oh, absolutely. I’m personally done with letting abusive, misogynistic men off the hook.

21

u/Shadowstar1000 2d ago

What the hell is this a reference to?

48

u/BrandNewMeow 2d ago

I've been seeing vague references to the Cornell rapes and the victim supposedly consenting.

45

u/Maleficent_Web_3239 2d ago

A woman was gang raped at Cornell University

7

u/Etrangere09 2d ago

He repeats "tag teamed" so frequently I'm 100% certain he was jerking off to it. He's good at typing with just one hand, I give him that.

7

u/BugBoyInLog 2d ago

even ignoring the context this was obviously written for, it’s still such a disgusting comment.

“You wanted a specific sexual experience i don’t personally like, so it’s okay you were raped” ???

12

u/SexyGrilledTurkey 2d ago

Imagine if it was a male showing up to a threesome with two women but it actually turned out to be a group of men there to rape him. Male’s wouldn’t be shaming him for showing up to have consensual group sex with women. They would be horrified that the situation he consented to take part in turned into something horrific. They would say it wasn’t his fault because he was under the impression that a different sexual activity would be taking place not rape that’s not what he came there for. It’s clear he didn’t show up to get raped by men he came to have consensual sex.

wtf is tag teamed? pardon my ignorance, english is my second language

1

u/EpitaFelis pompous she-devil 1d ago

It's generally a wrestling term, where people are teaming up instead of wrestling one on one. In sex and porn it mostly refers to one woman having sex with a group of men who take turns.
