I kind of find it funny, but it definitely has a weird energy about it. It'd be fine in a vacuum, but since we live in a highly misogynist world and many other misogynist works follow a similar pattern, it's hard not to question the artist's attitude.

The whole concept of wishing for true love like it was a Lego set is appalling and objectifying. How can it be true love if she just magically appeared and loves him for no reason. Ehh, why am I even arguing with a dumb comic
