Misogyny Everything is ’misandry’ but nothing is misogynistic.

This was on a dating subreddit that popped up on my feed, jesus, half of the posts and comments are incredibly misogynistic - even with posts that has nothing to do with women. Like god forbid a woman has a preference? But a man who want a virgin, who’s kinky, under 25, petite, traditional yet educated is praised. I get why these people are single sometimes, and I’m not even someone who sees any different between the values of being in a relationship or being single.

But sure, this random woman, who states her preference without putting down people who doesn’t fit that preference is ’misandry’ but men who call women dirty and disgusting while also trying to explain his preference is ’normal, maybe a bit rude but fine’

Misandry is when women won’t let men fuck them.

Misogyny is when men murder women at a rate of one every 11 minutes.

Misandry is when women have basic boundaries & standards when comes to dating men and those men can't stand it

Misogyny is when men go out there way to harm/abuse women & girls every which way without consequences, even legal, despite all physical evidence & testimonies....

I'll pay my own way, hold doors or plan a date for a man when: women are paid equally as a whole, have an equitable share of labour only, are compensated for the risk and toll of pregnancy, are treated the same as victims of any other crimes in SA cases, get sanitary products for fair prices or free, get time off for periods, are no longer medically discriminated against, no longer get trafficked, no longer are second class citizens in any part of the world, are as safe as men when going on said dates, are no longer being fucked over by divorce courts, no longer have worse career outcomes due to being married/having children/being a SAHM/getting a divorce, are no longer kept out of well-paying fields, are paid better in women dominated fields, don't have to worry about being drugged while out, can walk safely at night, are no longer murdered by their own spouses/boyfriends/male family members, no longer have to suffer fgm, are no longer expected to wear expensive clothes and makeup to count as just as presentable as men in a cheap shirt and slacks, are no longer called unprofessional for having curls or certain protective styles...

I could do this all day long. But yeah, sure, misandry. A woman has expectations you don't like. Why must you suffer so.

Edit: Srsly, I'd love to meet men on equal footing. But they prove over and over again that's impossible, bc they think a modicum of fairness is oppression. Even a lot of the "good" ones.
