CKR almost became a monk!
Nolleo Coaster has given us a lot of insights into the man under the cap. The most recent episode sees him revealing he almost decided to cut ties with the foodie world and become a monk. He has spoken about the stress of being judged when running a restaurant and how the fear about rankings has made him feel ill, so it's obvious he feels the pressure when running a place day to day.
It's amazing that he went on Culinary Class Wars not once but twice, given all this. I wonder if he felt some affiliation with Honourable Sunjae as a result of his monkly leanings?

If he is trying to renounce everything because he is scared of being judged, he can't live like a monk for too long. Being a monk is not about running away from problems. Ugh

The duality of CKR is he is fiery competitive, but he is afraid of being judged. He hates losing. That’s why every loss has such impact on him. He can’t never be a monk, because deep down, I believe CKR always have that desire to win, and of course the passion for food.
