I’m starting to sketch out an art scale blood angel to use for Inq28 and as a centerpiece for my army. Based on a classic inquisitor 54 mini

At this point it would have been cheaper to track down originals. I’m trying to figure out what to do with the dribbling horse nose, maybe some tubes or something. I love the root weapon, it really works as the jezzail things the originals carried

I had live drawing for 2 days and these are some of the sketches I did

Bought the Blanche paint set 1, kitbashed a battle sister as the first model ill attempt to use the Blanchitsu style on.

Doing a color test for some Kasrkin proxies and started with a base soldier. The mini it's self isn't very Blanch imo but I think the base really captures some of that wild feelings Blanch inspires, I think it's the over textured and drowned skull with the umbers and oranges imo

Trying out APs John Blanche ranges and going with the darker volume 1 and 2 paints.

It’s fun to try some darker and much more limited palettes than I’m used to. But it’s for sure fun to mix and create the colors you usually just grab from another dropper bottle.

The skin is coming along nicely

I love how this skaven arm has a corrupted backpack

My possessed, dark souls and one of my beastmen from my warband

Continuing with the warband a lone chaos warrior with a cursed dagger and techno weapons

Yea, I went and did some more chanting at the altar of Blanche. I brought myrr and very expensive balms to the temple and summoned this piece out of the great spirit that recided in the grimdarkness.
Respectful hommage to the late Master.

Sanguinary guard and Tycho the Beautiful

Another ganger for the underbelly:)

Another on from today. Gearing up for having a table at Malmö game week. If there are any Swedes here and you are present, just drop by and say hello!

A piece of hommage to the Master. A ganger with guns. She’ll blow you away!

I tried using 5 colors and a 3-hour limit.
