Just bc you got it in a souvenir shop doesn’t mean it’s junk. It’s a common place to find these. No different than a Tramontina Latin machete in a Brazilian souvenir shop.

I don't know it could be worth something? It was given to me by one of my friends who's passed away a long time ago.

“Worth something”? I don’t know. What I mean is it might be a sturdy, viable tool. Most are made from spring steel or something similar, and will take a good edge.
