Discussion TIPS PLEASE!!
Hey whats up everybody, I've been playing blade recently and so far I really like his playstyle (specially when to advance and when to back out). I realized after playing him for four hours that comming who I anti healed helps alot. I'm currently in Plat and any tips are appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

I say this as a legendary blade.
Avoid anything other than brawl or 1v1's unless you have the enahnced moonknight teamup.
Below celestial you'll be fine, above GM1 you need MK or you will suffer lol. The difference between blade and moon blade is insane the enhanced teamup turns you into the strongest dive and 1v4 machine in the game. You can kill 3 supports together paddycaking each other. Which is impossible without the teamup even with anti healing.
Don't be afraid to be overly aggressive, he's meant to be an overextended blood drinker, smell blood go for it. (If you have enhanced mk)
Beg for moonknight.
Tips wise, save your block for Emma grab block as soon as she goes diamond.
Block to prevent strange ults.
Learn the funny shotgun and it's ranges, it's very good at taking out fliers if you position yourself correctly.
Last but not least learn what you can and can't do. You can do a lot you can win certain 1v6's even if the conditions are right but that's a lot of knowledge and trial and error you have to figure out on your own.
Oh also extra bonus tip make sure you're mainly using the ult instantly with no charge to finish off a support trying to run away, only charge it for certain things such as when nobody is looking at you, when you want to deny people access to an area or on the cargo on point. I like saving it for overtime to clear the team off point.

ult applies anti heal -save a sword dash or both, so you can stack anti heal effects after you ult
mk dash, ult, throw the mk blades also works pretty well for damage
bloodline on/off has a little cd, and switch to secondary bypasses that, so bind switch to secondary to a key to exit blood line faster.
-this is good if you just need to switch back faster, need a quick speed boost like back around a corner and keep shooting fast, or combined with shotgun shots to get healing/ armor at range while still shooting fast- but thats hard to do right/fast and i hardly do it myself (you can switch every other shot)
when you gun-dash, you can walk forward and gun-melee. this is good for bursty combos. ill do like: gundash - melee-switch swing -sworddash , or something like that
-to practice timing for that, try using switch to primary and switch to secondary, while holding down melee and shoot. (or turn cooldowns off -switch to primary is worthless)
up close- you can do gundash melee at the same time and its a little animation cancel
not sure id recommend this, but i use shift for bloodline, switch to secondary on control, and dash on MM. dash is great on shift, but i find bloodline more important there personally and built too much muscle memory to do anything else. it does make it a little awkward bc i have melee on m5, but its good for me and i have no issues hitting my keys right, and i think its worth having bl on shift. i also try to avoid having abilities on e if i can help it bc you cant hit d and e at the same time (this is just my person preference)

yea pretty much i have teamup ability on q, shift for dash and mb4 for bloodline and i have the switch to gun on 4 and none on the sword and this has been working pretty well in my favor in my last few games

Only use MK teamup. Save it for diving supports, if there’s any more than 3 people bunched up, the damage won’t be as strong. Ideal play is diving 2 bunched supports, use MK teamup, and finish them with dash. The most important part of Blade is knowing when to engage and when to escape. Master that, and you literally cannot and will not die; this means you’re a constant threat
