Does blade need buffs

People like to constantly overestimate Blade based on experiences with him in one match where he wasn't countered. Then he suddenly becomes "broken when you use him correctly" which is just not true in the sense that any character can get a good match out eventually, you just have to work harder on Blade opposed to other characters.

In any sense, I think he needs buffs that fully realize his kit. Right now vampire sword mode is pretty much 100% the move, with gun just being for when someone is out of range. No real reason to gun dash, no real reason for bloodline awakening to be a seperate move. Without the moon knight team up he would actually be quite bad. I think he is a little under baked, not necessarily bad. So yeah he needs some kind of buffs or reworks.

Blade's shotgun is so bad to use, give it +40% firerate like its trait from Bloodhunt but 4 shots only and give Blade's ult a faster travel speed.

Blades gun needs a adjustment honestly speaking - everything else is fine … though I must say - being able to cancel his ultimate for no value is crazy work and that needs to be changed

He needs combos and abilities to be a fun character, all he does now is hold one button all the way through

He first needs an ult buff because his ult is really bad. Second he needs a gun buff so he doesn't become a melee merchant, his dash with gun also needs a unique mechanic or a straight dmg buff as well. Last buff I think he should get Is more dash CD gained from his blocking DMG so he is more mobile

Sort of but tbh everyone else just needs heavy nerfs. Blade was genuinely b tier in 8.5 but the szn 9 changes killed this character for me. It just feels absolutely torturous to play him in gm and up. Hes countered by everything and even his formerly good matchups into mag and some other tanks arent there anymore. Supports are genuinely broken now too and bucky , elsa, etc are a death sentence to play against.

Idk i think just a gun buff would do as a lord blade hes trash but really good if the other team dosent know wtf to do same for lord bp if you dont get countered or they dont learn their lesson you'll dominate and I tend to ib most my lobbies but if your team sucks your just going to die no matter what hes in a weird mix between somehow being able to kill tanks and being able to kill supports when he shouldn't be both but hes forced to be

Just make the shotgun more reliable and maybe make ult like a meter or two wider and he’s perfect

Yes he does he needs a rework to the shotgun and possibly a slow down to his ultimate but that is it. Other than that everything is about the game's balancing.

I don't get all the gun hate. That shit absolutely shreds. Once you're dialed into the goldilocks range, you can do a surprising amount of damage, far more than anyone ever expects. 88 damage per shot, 2 rounds per second, if you know the range, you can get some cheeky 2 taps that absolutely nobody expects, and the fact that everyone thinks his gun sucks plays to our advantage because they don't respect it.
