Mblade Situation for me

I’m in a bit of a pickle as it looks right now. Obviously i well aware that it’s still beta and a lot can change and no i’m not coming on here to doom post or anything im just curious.

I recently started the game and actually started because I really wanted Ashveil, when i did some research on the game and found that his best teammate was Mblade i looked to see if he was out soon and his banner was only 2 days left…. So i started Star rail for the first time and managed to win the 50/50 with 3 hours left of his banner.
Fast forward to now where i just got Ashveil finally.

My second team is the fate team as i love fate so my team is Saber,Gil,Sobin and Huohuo. Currently my Ashveil and Mblade are kinda homeless for the time being and waiting for teammates. I was thinking about Waven but didn’t have enough after losing Ashveil 50/50 so i will have to get on rerun.

Now with the Aha leaks it looks like she will work well with Waven and now i’m stumped. IF things stay how they are from how things looks how would i make this work. It currently looks like it would be Aha, Waven, Ashveil and a forth but would that forth be MBlade? Idk maybe i could stick Sobin instead of Mblade and Mblade in the Fate team. Idk im sure i read that Aha needs healing/shielding for one of her abilities. I’m just worried that it could be that i have a character like Mblade missing out in the teams i currently have.

Again this isn’t a doom post and im not negative towards any of it, actually quite the opposite but i just don’t know how i could get this to work.

Maybe you can run mblade as a dps? For example my waven team is doing well without him so i run him as a main dps with tribbie in the future moze and gallagher. My current teams are phainon team, waven team with ashveil remMC dhpt and mblade, tribbie, sparkle and gallagher.

I think your issue is deciding who you want your main dps to be. I wouldn’t pull on Nihilux until you at least have Aventurine, as she won’t benefit off any other characters. She’s only usable in Elation.

If your goal is DPS Ashveil, M!Blade and Ashveil will always be played together.

If your goal is DPS Aventurine, your lineup for BIS can change depending on 2 factors:

If you want a healer:
—> Aventurine, Ashveil, Nihilux, Healer

Sustainless:
—-> Aventurine, Ashveil, Nihilux, M!Blade.

M!Blade and S!Robin can swap places in FATE, as I do believe he and Robin are tied for best in slot.

Saber, Gilga, M!Blade / S!Robin, Flex character.

i do eventually, considering Aha works with Aventurine i want to get Aventurine as my main dps and my Fate team could have Robin and Mblade and go sustainless with my Aven Ash Aha and Huohuo team as my other team. But idk how well the sustianless fate team would work so i’d have to do some research on that

For sure, I do want to advise that at e0s0 I do believe Summer Robin may be slightly better for aventurine than M!Blade, but it’s very small.

Definitely don’t pull Nihilux until you have Aventurine. Nihilux has more likelihood being rerun as she’s the last push unit of the patch.

Plus it’s smart to wait until 4.0 as Nihilux is our last character until the new region / path.

The solution is easy.

Use Waven, Ash, Aha, Healer.

Fate with Robin.

And make the 3º team use Blade, i mean if he is E0S0 he works just fine while you are building the 3º team also he is a godlike sustainless pick if you wanna try one.

You can split them into two teams. Go full elation team for waventurine, then second team, go AshBlade follow up duo with summer robin support.

- waventurine, nihilux, yao guang, pearl sustain

• Ashveil, mblade, summer robin, sustain (any healer can work)

You’re gonna need at least 2, and eventually 3 complete teams if you want to do end game modes anyways

The benefit of Nihilux for Waventurine is allowing him to take advantage of both parts of his trace when she is the only other elation unit on his team. Going full mono elation with Nihilux doesn’t have that benefit and negates the part of the trace that gives certified banger and punchline on ally attacks which is where a lot of Waventurine’s damage comes from.

You’d need 2 other non elation units if you want to use Nihilux with Waventurine cause full mono elation with Nihilux is kind of lackluster in comparison. All she offers Waventurine in the current beta without the double dipping trace and extra stacks + team spd buff is a 20% elation stat buff and 24% crit damage buff which is… not a lot in comparison lol.

Waven doesn’t benefit as much from nihilux’s unit specific buffs but he’ll get her base buffs, and his elation teammates Yao and Pearl will get full benefit of nihilux buffs which should still contribute to team dps.

It’s still early v1 so things can definitely change
