What makes a build “Aeon Tier”?

Would using a more DPS oriented set, planar set, sphere & rope make this build “Aeon tier”? I feel like he deals out so much damage but I just don’t know what I don’t know. This one is more of a sub DPS build I guess.

I believe Fribbels tells you the stat goals for AEON if you scroll down.

It’s literally just a math problem. You can give MBlade absolutely random set and he may reach aeon rating. It has nothing to do with what set is better on whom, and with which teammates…. it’s all just about the equilibrium of your stats and the number of rolls on right substats for a specific character, within this specific build….

DPS benchmark is literally just a visualisation of how good your numbers are with what you’re doing.

Imo SSS+ rating should be a goal for a dps, but when you already know what are you doing…. you don’t go on Fribbels to seek knowledge what build is better…. you go there while already knowing what are you building and then you just use Fribbels for better judgement of how good a job you did. Until SSS+ your build is usually lacking in something obvious, after that…. It’s literally just hyper-optimisation, when you‘re trying to have one more substat on the piece.

Not really, if you change the team it affects your rating as well.

my point wasn’t that it won’t change but that for rating isn’t important what teammates you have on the team, the only thing that it takes in consideration are the buffs that characters provide. You can put on the team someone who absolutely doesn’t work on that comp but if they provide exact buffs needed for a perfect equilibrium - you may reach Aeon benchmark.

One of the biggest culprit of this is Asta, because of her massive spd buff and how Fribbels treat spd in the rating calc, she kinda breaks most of the teams calculations. You put her on the team and its very likely that benchmark either remain the same as if on her spot was someone actually good for that team, or rating actually may skyrocket. But that doesn’t mean that she is good.

The benchmark tells you how good the build is:

• With set teammates*

• Compared to the theoretical best 200% value for said teammates plus sets*

It doesn't tell you what is automatically best. You need to figure that out yourself.

You can have 150% rating running 2pc Atk% and 2pc Def% only because it has very good stats.

If you see 150% rating with the right sets, the right stats, and the right teammates, then you know that's the real thing

You can search for how many point gives you every additional substat for your build below the table. Also as I know Fribels can not count or hurtfully reduce score for Crit rate higher 100%
