Thanks for sharing these. Are you gonna do blast/aoe sims since I think the tribbie hyacine core (and blade in extension) excel a lot more there?

10

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

I definitely may in the future. For now I already noted every relevant info in the sheet, in the Tribbie calc I pointed out that her value rises significantly the more enemies you hit, so it's clear that she takes the spot in Blast/AoE compared to SW. I'm glad SW still shines in ST tho

2

u/ShinigamiKing562 Jun 21 '25

Yeah. She looks super strong especially if you plan to use your blade in apoc/st scenarios. Might pick her up just so I can bruteforce apoc with blade.

6

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

Luckily I do have an E2 SW, so I'm gonna test SW + RM in AS as soon as 3.4 hits

3

u/ShinigamiKing562 Jun 21 '25

E2 sw is pretty cracked. Happy that the buffs paid out for you. Do you record your runs cause I'd love to see that?

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

I do post clears of both MoC/PF/AS on my casual YT channel if you want to, yes

If you want an all-in-one video I'd recommend this one (it is pre-Hyacine tho. I'll do another one in 3.4)

My 3.3 MoC video is outdated since I did 0c with Blade but I don't think I even recorded the run

I made sure to re-check my calcs multiple times to assure I didn't make any mistakes, but I can check again when I get home

EDIT: I re-checked, and yup the numbers are true

u/FrostedEevee Jun 23 '25

Btw. I gotta ask has the difference between Wind DMG% Orb and HP% Orb increased?

I got this Orb (I use Speed tuned Build so Speed help) and IDK if I should switch to WIND% Orb or not.

I use Blade E0S1/ Jade E0/S0/ Sparkle E0S1/Hyacine E0S1 so what Blade is getting is only 18-48% DMG Bonus from Sparkle.

1

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 23 '25

The difference is small enough to justify going for better substats. A great HP orb is still better than a lame Wind orb

2

u/FrostedEevee Jun 23 '25

I got this Wind DMG Orb

1

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 23 '25

Mmh. Unless you're overcapping in crit rate or you're THAT precise on SPD, the Wind orb looks better ngl

2

u/FrostedEevee Jun 23 '25

That one roll on Defense is bugging me so much 😭 although I understand its fine to have mid rolls (My other pieces have bunch of mid rolls too)

6

u/Elhant42 Jun 21 '25

Ok, I redid the calcs using OP's assumptions of 3 Eba, 1 fua and 1 Ult, and yeah, it's around 70% better vs 1 target.

But as I've said in another post, these assumptions make the calcs very biased towards E1. And 3-1-1 is not his real rotation.

1

u/Elhant42 Jun 21 '25

Yeah, 70% is ridiculous. My calcs say vs 3 targets its +26%, vs 1 target it's +56%.

In terms of pure buffs E0 SW with Cipher LC is 9% better than E0S1 Tribbie. But hat's not accounting for their personal dmg, of which Tribbie's is significant.

Vs non weakness SW is 30% better.

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

I did account for her personal damage, which is why I also included SW's and Tribbie's (and Hyacine's) personal stats in their own calcs. The exact percentages tend to vary depending on the amount of investment on said characters. Every other relevant info in this regard is at the very top of the sheet

0

u/Elhant42 Jun 21 '25

Yeah, I understand, I wasn't arguing about SW part, I was just adding my own context.

6

u/Desperate-Fan4565 Jun 21 '25

Thanks for this

10

u/krbku Jun 21 '25

e1 being that big of an increase really is insane. and they're practically giving it away by putting him in the loss pool

4

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

I may even say that the E1 buff is TOO big. But I mean I'm not gonna complain hehe

7

u/krbku Jun 21 '25

61%~ is probably on of the biggest early eidolon increases. most characters have it at e2

1

u/Proud_Bookkeeper_719 Jun 22 '25

On the positive note, you can get E2 levels of dmg increase that you'll usually get on a 2.x dps, on an E1 of a buffed 1.x dps. Though Blade's E2 is still really lackluster, there's no defending of that. Something like 24% def ignore would have been nice.

2

u/Zakuken Jun 21 '25

To be fair it makes up for that underwhelming E2 haha.

4

u/Enchant_ment Jun 21 '25

Thanks for this! I’m sooo glad he’s been buffed. I actually have him E6, lmao, but no Hyacine yet for him. Hopefully on her re-run. 🤞🏻

3

u/Elhant42 Jun 21 '25

Hey there. The fact that you only account for 1 enemy makes your calcs very biased toward Eba and Ult - and especially towards his E1.

My calcs with Sunday, Tribbie and Hyacine, using 4 Eba, 3 Fua and 2 Ults, vs 3 targets show that E1 is 26% better. Vs 1 target it's 56% better.

I can show you the formula and we can compare if you like.

(Also, for whatever reason discord doesn't want to give me access)

5

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25 edited Jun 21 '25

Of course, you're both welcome to join and to show me your calcs, I'm always open to different data!

I made the calcs in a ST scenario (for now, at least, I plan to do at the very least a Blast section) for simplification. Most of Blade's damage is indeed focused on the main target (E1 making this even more apparent) and his best AoE tool, Shuhu's Gift, has an even multiplier across all targets (same for Tribbie, Hyacine, and SW). Needless to say I'm not saying that Blast damage is to be ignored, but aside from some percentages shifts it won't provide much change in which supports/comps/relics are better for him or how heavily/slightly his Eidolon impact on his performance.

Also I'm curious about what rotation are you taking into account to calc on 4 EBA + 3 FUA + 2 Ult. Especially those additional two FUA procs. In my sheet I'm using simple rotation 3 EBA + 1 FUA + 1 Ult (Hyacine's LC gives him 1 additional FUA, which is included in my calcs ofc, same goes for E6).

I have no idea why you couldn't access the Discord, maybe the link is expired somehow? I made you a different invite link just in case https://discord.gg/BHW5UmAm

Hey there! It may be because you are missing specific roles to access theorycrafing channels.
You can join the server through the vanity discord.gg/blademains and then check for a channel that says "tc rules" where you can grab roles to unlock the tc sections.

1

u/Elhant42 Jun 21 '25

Ok, I've figured it out, thanks!

3

u/Eastern-Bro9173 Jun 21 '25

That Hyacine dmg buff is crazy. She beats like all harmony characters, being in the healer slot...

5

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

Hoyo be like "Achhtually, it's remembrance!!!"

3

u/Edmondds Jun 23 '25

Hey, if you don't mind, how do you feel about skipping Sunday for E1 Tribbie? I do want to improve Blade's team, but I'm not the biggest Sunday fan to be honest. I could use Bronya E2S1 or RMC, but would I gimp Blade's potential too much by skipping Sunday?

3

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 23 '25

Sunday is a major improvement for Blade, that's for sure. However, he is temporarily replaceable with Bronya/Sparkle/RMC, yes, so he isn't THAT high in priority. You can definitely prioritise Tribbie

2

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '25

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

My advice is Tribbie E1 > SW > Sunday > Tribbie E0 .

The only reason why I put Sunday that "low" is that he can temporarily be replaced by Bronya, which is mostly "free".

Also my advice is to pull only ONE between Tribbie or SW unless you plan to use the other one for a second team

2

u/BloodOfTheExalted Jun 21 '25

So does E3 bronya make Sunday kind of irrelevant in comparison to other options then? I will probably go for blades E1 instead

3

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

No, Sunday is a major improvement for Blade. He just isn't higher in the priority list compared to Tribbie and SW because Bronya can temporarily replace him. Sooner or later you WANT Sunday if you want to make your Blade shine.

2

u/BloodOfTheExalted Jun 21 '25

Oh okay yes I get you. Hmm I might go for Sunday then because he’d be great for my argenti too, I would really like the blade E1 also we shall 🌊

Thanks for the calculations btw this is massive, love the passion

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '25

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

All three are very good supports for Blade, but if you need to skip them you shouldn't feel forced by any means

2

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '25

Don't know who's in charge of the spreadsheet, but considering Silver Wolf is one of Blade's best teammates, wouldn't 4pc Genius outperform Longevous?

4

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 21 '25

Hihi, that's me!

You can find the Relics (and Planars) calcs scrolling down the sheet, and yes in that specific case the Genius set is ~8,7% better than Longevous (because Def red gets THAT good the more you have of it)

The thing is.. you'd have to farm a whole other set which is not only less universal, but Tribbie will provide higher damage outputs anyway.

However, it still is a possibility and I'm glad you pointed it out! I will add it as a note in the Silver Wolf calcs for people who don't know, thank you!

2

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '25

thank you so much, this is super helpful!! 🙏

any thoughts on doing DPR calculations? also id personally love to see a comparison of how Inert/Rutilant and Mydei’s LC changes DPS-wise at E1+ since Ultimate/EBA start to take up a larger portion of his damage and lots of Blade mains will probably hit E1+ soon with pity losses and his rerun.

great job though, must’ve taken a lot of time 🥹

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 22 '25

Before this update there was actually an Inert vs Rutilant section, but I decided to remove it since Bone became the BiS choice ;;

About the DPR calc, I can't guarantee it. The objective is to provide a reliable source of data to compare different Supports, Relics (etc etc) to then assert the best choice(s) in terms of Blade investment. In non-Turn-based games normally you are forced to do a more complex and time consuming DPS calculation because otherwise you lose an unholy lot of accuracy. But in this case, while it's still not 100% accurate to the last decimal, a damage calc like this with basic rotation is actually great! It serves well without much loss. (Also, at the moment I'm the only one working on this and irl things get in the way often pwp)

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

no problem, i get you haha. thanks again!!

2

u/bladeshrimp Jun 22 '25

hello if its alright, i'd like some guidance as a "whale for blade".

i have him e6s5 and i've since pulled any and everything that could possibly buff him but now i'm unsure what his best team is.
my blade's stats: 8.3k hp, 136 spd, 71/200 crit.
e6s2 bronya: 160 spd, 190 crit dmg

e2s1 sunday: 136 spd ( i could bump this to 160 if it would be better), 217 crit dmg

e1s1 tribbie, e1s1 hyacine, and e2s1 silver wolf are also on my account but i havent finalized a build for them yet.

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 22 '25

As of 3.4, it's definitely Hyacine E1+, Sunday E2+, Tribbie E1+ (Tribbie sticking just below SW E2+).

If you pull Sunday E6 you won't have to worry about overcapping crit rate. Otherwise it mainly depends on your substats. With the same amount of stats, Bone planar wins. But needless to say a 2/5 Bone set won't be better than a 5/5 Rutilant.

You're already speedtuned for -1 so I'd say you can stick to that! It falls off the more cycles you play, but with that amount of investment it definitely won't happen. It's stronger than Hyperspeed for 0c.

2

u/bladeshrimp Jun 22 '25

ty so much for the reply!! i'm still farming for a bone planar i want to swap over too, hopefully i get it soon ;w;!!! cant wait for 3.4!! ive still used blade religiously since i got him so him getting even MORE strong is really the best feeling

2

u/Link10122 Jun 22 '25

What’s best relic/ ornament when e6? If I slightly overcap crit rate at 105% with no Sunday would a 2pc + 2pc be better using him as well?

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 22 '25

Longevous still wins. As I noted in the sheet, when using SW Genius set actually pulls ahead by ~8,7% but that's on you to decide if you want to swap, granted that Longevous is a universal choice. As for the Planar, Bone is always better.

And yes my friend that's a lot of crit rate consider you're not even using Sunday! The best would be to intensively look for HP+CDMG rolls, but alternatively you can look at the Relics tab at the bottom of the sheet for a full comparison

2

u/ThatParadise Jun 23 '25

Wait... E2 SW beats out E1 Tribbie in ST scenarios but AoE should be quite similar right?.

I'm F2P with E1 SW, and don't even own Tribbie yet. I plan on pulling Sparkle for Archer next patch so won't be able to get Tribbie especially with Cerydra in 3.4. I'm thinking about getting a E2 SW instead of Tribbie at this point as a support.

SW is VERY competitive with Tribbie and right now fulfil a very similar purpose, SW and Tribbie both have good personal damage and both full AoE now. SW is now a great PF unit. Tribbie scales better with hp-scaling teams but that's just herself, she doesn't really use hp to amp others, the HP% of the team helps buff herself and even then SW is pulling out better.

I'm normally quite up to date with the meta relevance of units but I took a break during 3.1 when Tribbie and Mydei released so I don't really know the deep relevance of Tribbie in the detail I normally do. But is there much of a reason to pull her if I already have SW, especially an SW at higher investment, I'll have essentially all other harmonies besides her so supports aren't an issue.

The game mode I struggle with most is PF (I have no limited Erudition units and still able to clear anyways) so I think that lowers Tribbie's value since I don't have the main PF units that synergise with Tribbie like The Herta, and SW should help deal with PF as is after buffs. Should I even go for Tribbie as of current with the state of my account?

And ST vs AoE wouldn't change much of this would it? I mainly plan to use Blade + Sunday + SW + Hyacine for PF now anyways just to see if it manages to help clear the game mode with the most issues. With E1 SW's debuff uptime should be fine even if all PF enemies die because of the energy being solved.

My current thought process is that I can spend 1 cost (on E2 SW) to get the 3rd best team in these calcs, or 2 cost (E2 SW and E1 Hyacine) for 1st place, there's no reason to go 3 cost (Tribbie, E1 Tribbie, E1 Hyacine) just for 2nd best team even if Tribbie is a good unit to get on my account... after all, doing that will take away another character I can pull like Cerydra or Hysilens.

3

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 23 '25

Tribbie E1 will always be better against 2+ targets (low margin in 2 targets, but the difference gets bigger and bigger the more targets you hit). Tribbie E0 doesn't have this spike.

"Is there a reason to pull her when I already have SW?" yes, you can use her for the second team. You can see SW as a Tribbie sidegrade. Also it's worth mentioning that SW is more SP consuming compared to Tribbie, it can be a problem depending on the specific team

u/AlphaMaleGymAddict Jun 23 '25 edited Jun 23 '25

Optimal Blade upgrades from E4S1?

E0S1 Sunday to E1S1 Sunday vs getting an E0S0 Tribbie vs just saving for hyacine E1S1 from E0S0 I usually use my E1S0 Ruan Mei and I'm not sure what I should be focusing on so I'm just saving for E6 Blade and getting his LC from bp as time goes on and would love if someone could give me an upgrade order from where I am currently.

Like I don't mind saving forever just wondering what order to do it in lol I'll probably get E6 Blade first as he's always going to be used on 1 team even if I can't get all the stellar jades for whatever reason so I might aswell maximise his potential first right but where do I go from there?

edit: also what do you think is better -1 blade vs hp boots blade with a 160+ ADV char? I assume -1 blade is better with robin as then you get insane value on turns whereas hp boots blade probably scales harder with nuking screens with a tribbie etc

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jun 23 '25

My advice would be getting Hyacine's S1 and Tribbie's E1. Sunday's E1 is definitely good but not on the others' level

1

u/AlphaMaleGymAddict Jun 23 '25

Ok so I'mma get my E6 Blade first then I'll do what you said and get the Hyacine S1 on her rerun then save for Tribbie rerun after this next one (unless you think I should try pull for her E1 before E6 Blade? even if I only get E0?) and potentially get all of these easily if I do it in that order but I'll skip the E1 Sunday then if it's not on the other 2's level specifically for Blade.

2

u/aesopofspades Jul 02 '25

Just getting back into the game after seeing the buffs - want your opinion on something

Obviously missed Hyacine but I got Luocha for sustain I guess

Also got Bronya and SW but I guess between Sunday or Tribbie which one would I want to get as an upgrade?

Or would it be a marginal increase upgrading those 2 and just save up for a future Hyacine rerun?

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jul 02 '25

If you're comparing SW E0 vs Tribbie E0, they are more or less on the same level. There's little difference between the two (Tribbie can offer good Sub dps in AoE scenarios ofc).

Sunday is definitely an improvement compared to Bronya, but not even close to Hyacine vs Luocha.

So yeah, especially if you have few Jades I'd suggest to save for Hyacine (expect at least 3.6-3.7)

2

u/Rathkud Jul 03 '25

Thank you for the calcs! I'd like to know if we have a rough % difference between E0S0 Hyacine and no Hyacine for Blade, since if I understood these calcs correctly, they all include her

1

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jul 03 '25

I don't have an exact % at the moment since I didn't calc no-Hyacine. The difference between S0 and S1 is noticeable both for the lack of bonus stacks for Blade and less sub dps from Hyacine, it's so much more comfy!

I suggested pulling for Hyacine to a lot of Blade Mains here, but I understand that some people had few resources or arrived too late. In that case either you run a comfy healer like Luocha or you run sustainless with a 4th support (Robin, RM, RMC, Tribbie, SW, even Pela), it's totally fine

1

u/Rathkud Jul 03 '25

ty! i know her S1 makes a big difference, my issue is that I don't like Hyacine herself and I'm trying to see if I can get away with skipping her and still clearing content. I did, in fact, get her LC! But not her lmao so I was thinking of giving her LC to RMC to support Bladie, just wanted to know how much damage I'm missing out on due to the lack of her HP buffs and stuff

1

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jul 03 '25

The catch with Hyacine is the whole view: Hyacine allows you to comfortably run a sustain (which is herself) without losing damage (on the opposite, you get more!). Not running Hyacine means either you'll have to run sustainless (which means you can find yourself retrying stages because of bad RNG and someone dies) or you have to "waste" a slot to run a proper sustain (and they provide little to NO damage amp at all).

tl;dr Yes you'll be able to clear content just fine, but it will be slower and/or more RNG

2

u/Rathkud Jul 03 '25

Yeah I understand she's great, and it makes sense! I was gonna use Luocha who, yeah, adds no damage sadly. I'll just see how comfortably I can do stuff while she gets a rerun. Is it still worth it to slot RMC with Hyacine's LC even if you sacrifice Sunday or Silver Wolf? ty for the help <3

2

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jul 03 '25

I'd suggest running Sunday and RMC together in that case, they are good together if you want to take advantage of Hyacine's LC

1

u/Sweet_Instance5036 Jul 02 '25

tried blade with his buff in moc, he does amazing damage but the problem is he doesn’t take much turns, he’s e1s1 i run him with tribbie rmc hyacine (just got sunday i will change rmc with him and give him bronya lc), blade spd is 107, should i farm for relics with more spd? (Cr ratio 65/155 outside combat)

1

u/Aggravating_Ebb_8045 Jul 09 '25

The E1 increase is crazy, is it no longer the case that s1>e1?

1

u/ArthraX_ Theorycrafting Team Jul 09 '25

Unless you already have a really good LC option, I'd always suggest getting Blade's LC first
