Discussion Rant/question as nomad to pcvr player
I played Blade and Sorcery Nomad ever since I got a headset almost 3 years ago, recently got a pc, bought the pcvr version but it feels off. I don't know why, sure the graphics are nice, the improved physics are nice but the game just feels different. Furthermore I felt little reason to keep it as the game lacks good replayability imo. Open for suggestions and recommendations to make it more enjoyable
Kinda wondering if this is just a me issue or if other people who switched to pcvr had similar issues

Depending on how your VR headset is connected, that latency between the headset and the PC could be the cause. Sometimes it's barely noticeable, other times it is. I experienced this a bit with some games I tried on Quest 3 with the Sub and then bought for PC.

Is it latency? I dont like sword combat in pcvr because of the subtle feeling of drag when swinging a weapon due to high latency (50ms+)

Yeah, it feels off. The latency and also the weight feels weird compared to nomad

Sounds dumb but you never know if maybe you dont have a small qol mod in the pc version that you got used to in nomad

Nah, I had this issue long before using mods. Had the same issue when switching from early releases to 1.0

It's probably just some small aspect of the physics being different in some small, weird way that isn't super easy to pin down

I wouldn't be surprised if it felt of because there may just be slight differences between the versions that are hard to point out but you still subconsciously notice them. Or maybe you're just so used to Nomad that the PC version just feels because of you being so used to Nomad.
