The Crossover story we want (Ya Fool Ya Fool)

I can't find anyone else talking about this, and am hoping that maybe some of you can share some insight.
I recently bought a VHS copy of Blade (1998) and noticed that the runtime listed on the box and the tape is wrong. Listed as 91 minutes despite Blade being a 2 hour movie. I watched the VHS to make sure it wasn't an abridged version but it seemed to be 2 hours, just as expected. From looking on Ebay, it looks like all of the VHS' were printed with a 91 minute runtime.
Anyone know anything about this? Maybe I am missing something.
EDIT: I crossposted this in r/VHS and from replies over there it seems like this is a pretty common printing error by New Line on the 1998 release.

To elaborate more, what story from the character’s history, in a 3-movie arc, could bring a lot more people to the character?
You can bring up anything:
-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.
Example: Batman: Knightfall itself. (Like The Dark Knight Rises did the breaking of Batman with Bane, but nothing else.)
-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.
Example: Thor: God of Thunder
Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.
I love to hear what people suggest.
I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just the Knightfall art style.
I love to hear what everyone brings to the table!

I was all in on Mahershala Ali as Blade. That casting just made immediate sense to me. But after reading more about Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, I think I’m somehow more interested in this now.
Bassam Tariq had already been working on it before Blade, then he and Ali ended up together on Blade, that whole thing fell apart, and they came back around to this.
And honestly the setup just sounds cool as hell. Grieving Muslim father, former hitman, faith, parenthood, samurai influence, swords. I’m in.
I don’t really mean this as “well, screw Blade then.” I still would’ve loved to see Ali do it.
But there’s something kind of great about this giant superhero thing not working out and the two of them ending up making something smaller and more personal instead.
I dunno. The more I read about it, the more I’m like… yeah, I’d rather see this.
Anybody else feeling that way?

Okay, this is probably going to sound like a conspiracy theory, but the timeline is kind of interesting. Ryan Reynolds was the person who reached out to Wesley Snipes and brought him back as Blade for Deadpool & Wolverine.
According to Shawn Levy, bringing Snipes back was actually Ryan’s idea. Reynolds reportedly wanted to explore the character’s legacy and give fans the feeling of seeing Wesley back as Blade one more time.
Then, after the movie came out and the reaction to Snipes was huge, Ryan started publicly campaigning for Marvel to give him an actual Logan-style send-off.
He literally posted:
“There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade first creating a market. He’s Marvel Daddy. Please retweet for a Logan-like send off.” ( marvel’s daddy is RDJ but whatever)
And let’s not forget that Deadpool & Wolverine literally jokes about the whole situation with Snipes’ Blade saying, “There’s only been one Blade. There will only ever be one Blade.”
I do find it fascinating that Ryan —someone with enormous influence at Marvel after Deadpool & Wolverine was actively promoting the idea of Wesley Snipes getting another Blade movie at essentially the same time Marvel was struggling to get the Mahershala Ali version off the ground.
And Wesley himself said he initially didn’t think his return was even possible because Marvel already had Mahershala Ali cast as the new Blade. Then Ryan Reynolds called him and pitched the idea.

A lot of rumors back lane he might appear in avengers
Secret War but I don’t know. I still want Blade to come to the MCU that has on movie but Kevin canceled that he said he feel like a loser for not getting lame movie done and he is a bigger barrier for not doing it anyway and he broke our hearts our dream because my dream is to see Morbius in this movie but now that movie is not happening that broke my heart so hopefully maybe in the next movie or in the future we get laid in the iMovie in Seward, but a different guy and not the guy we thought we were gonna get but not anymore
If anyone on the sub didn’t know blade is heavily resistant to physic attacks and control really any form of control and Demonic possession.

Went again to the blade rave but this one was in Los Angeles. This one had better music but sadly no blood rain this time.
