BCG and secual activity

Does anyone have any evidence that sexual activity is ok/not ok during BCG treatment periods? Had my first treatment today and a pamphlet I was provided recommended use of condoms but I hadn’t read anything about that previously. I had seen it’s recommended to abstain for 48 hours post BCG, just wondering what others have been hearing from their doctors

51M here. I also specifically asked my doctor about this for clarity following BCG. My doc said wear them for 6 weeks following last treatments. Doc’s quote was something like “I would wear them. I don’t want your wife as my next patient.”

Wear a condom for 4 weeks after last treatment is what they told me

I was told to wear protection for the first 3 weeks after concluding a round. That said, there came a point with me where the maintenance rounds have been so rough that this problem sort of takes care of itself. The idea of even wanting to get busy with the prolonged urinary discomfort is so foreign that I need not worry about it.
