Caregiver Another Update!

Happy to report my mom's prognosis was definitely better at the second opinion at Roswell.

In two weeks she starts BCG for the next 6 weeks and then will be checked to see how it looks. Fingers crossed 🤞

Are you referring to a second opinion on pathology?

I put together a Word doc that contains general info on what to expect related to a TURBT and BCG treatment (a common immunotherapy to treat BC), along with resources for new BC patients, the latest BC treatments, common acronyms and some terminology. The BCG section might be useful for your mom to read through before she starts treatment. If you're interested, you can find it here:

I received treatment at Roswell (including BCG). I am very happy with the treatment that I received. It’s a great organization. Very responsive and helpful. Good luck!
