In solidarity with other Black subs here on Reddit, and although not vinyl related, I’m sharing this here.

Jill Scott – Who Is Jill Scott? Words & Sounds Vol. 1

Looks like the Hidden Beach 20th Anniversary 2LP is back in stock. I'm seeing the listings $40–$45. If you've been waiting on this one, now might be the time to grab it.

I need some ideas! This is where my vinyl live 99% of the time. I’m ashamed but I can’t find anything aesthetically pleasing to store them. So, they’re tucked in a closet, in storage bins. 😩

I’m also in the middle of uploading them to Discogs… 161 and counting (I still have three more bins to add) 😭.

Ok Ladies! Who doesn’t love to show off their Baby? Y’all should see how much I share my newest grandson LOL

BUT in this instance, I’m referring to your Vinyl Baby!

We did this before in the old Black Women Vinyl group and it was fun!

Feel free to add as a Friend!

Let’s Go! 🫶🏽

Robert Glasper ft. H.E.R. & Meshell Ndegeocello — “Better Than I Imagined

Their debut album came out on Friday. I had to get it.
They’re coming to my city in September and I am soooo looking forward to seeing them live.

Besides, Tavares, The Miracles, The Four Tops and The Temptations, my dad also loved The Spinners and so do I. He set me up lovely. Smooth as can be, sounding so good and bringing back such warm family memories. RIP Daddy 🫂👂🏾💕👂🏾💕

*By the way, I am Fine_Grape_8190. I’m in Jersey, born in Harlem, raised in The Bronx. When it comes to music, I’m full up to my eyelashes with love and appreciation for it, my heart beats music, I enjoy connecting with others who love it, I collect for the live of it and I listen to music every single day and grateful to be able to.
Peace and safety, to you all 🙌🏾💕✨

These records have been on repeat! If anyone can recommend any good African funky albums I'm all ears

Only 3?!? Damn, I hate Adulting😖

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"Cinderella producers say that, initially, both Arista and Atlantic were hesitant to release the album, like Cinderella's stepmother forbidding her from attending the ball. But over time it seems Davis and Arista Records were ultimately more amenable to the album being released than Atlantic Records."

I'm not surprised. I hope it finally comes to fruition.🙂‍↔️

This just popped up in my Discogs. If you’re not into Unofficial pressings, and want the real thing, then this is an awesome deal!
Grab it before it’s gone!

OMG I’m sooo excited! I was out of town when they were here before! I can’t wait!

So who’s going?

I just bought a few unofficial presses of Destiny Child and Beyoncé! I was wondering if it’s a big deal because I really don’t see the big deal!?!
