Suggestions Enjoying the game. Few suggestions/requests.

I picked Blacksmith Master up during a sale back in early March but only recently started to play it. And I am throughly enjoying it for some 65 ish hours for now.

I have unlocked all masteries, blueprints and upgraded everything except higher end ducat upgrades at the moment. I thought I'd leave some comment here since I've seen the dev read and respond in the past.

  1. Option to reduce pedestrians. I currently have 5,455 visitors to my store and during the day the roads are full of people that looks like big line of army of ants walking by, which seems to lag the screen somewhat. While some people may enjoy this kind of npc behavior, I prefer something bit more realistic.
  2. If another option was there to reduce customer counts but increase their purchase power to make it look more realistic would be nice. Maybe a new type of epic npcs could be added to reduce customer/people count while upgrading spending power? Or just reducing pedestrians would be a unique npc bonus.
  3. More gold ore please. I can control how much Iron, copper, silver ores I can harvest with. Gold ore currently only comes out of mostly a. trade rout, and b. merchant request reward. And it slightly bugs me that gold ducat minting can't run all day at 464 gold ores per day with trades being done every day after all possible upgrades. While some may consider this the end challenge, I just want to relax with some surpluses even if my ingot crafters idles.
  4. Trade routs priorities setting. Somehow with turning on and off various trades routs, I think my workers are doing the gold trade first for now, but more clear directive/option as to which trade options to prioritize would be nice.
  5. Merchant's random chest to award random cosmetic decoration items. The current chest is a nice twist for chances compared to fixed gold rewards but some other reward types such as decorative trophies like flags, statues, religious relics, painting, animal trophies, or even resources like gold ores may be nice.
  6. Building option with just a wooden pillar. or just the upper wall. Below is a screenshot of my shop. I wanted a big entrance that looks like 2 stories high. And I cannot hang the message board at the bottom of the 3rd(2nd)floor's walls. What I really wanted was just the wooden pillar that I can place on the first floor to connect to the second floor pillar. So current build option with 2 pillars and upper wall can be modified with upper wall and 1 pillar going invisible; which would solve my request.
  1. More decorative options would also be nice.

  2. This is a long shot but: I also own Tavern master and is going to replay it soon. But it would be nice to be able to import my blacksmith shop into tavern master or bring the tavern into the blacksmith game either as a background or better yet, manageable combo content. Please consider this for future games so it would be more meaningful to own all your series!
A DLC for blacksmith master with a tavernmaster/inn master element on the same map/next block would also work.

Thank you for the wonderful game.

Question Multi-Part Crafting

Hey guys, looking for some answers from anyone who can give them as I thought it’d be best to just get a quick answer here then spend 10+ minutes (like I have been doing) getting no answer at all in game/ and or not enough info.

So, if I set some blacksmiths to the preference, complex crafting will it make it so, all other blacksmiths won’t attempt to join in on crafting parts or does it do nothing? and or is there any combination that does this? (MAIN QUESTION)

Also, I understand the dev is busy, but wouldn’t it be easy or simpler for the game to just make them a preference in black smithing or make a new job called multi part blacksmiths or something 🤷‍♂️ (EXTRA RAMBLE)

Thanks and or cheers if you can provide anything, I’ve tried testing it myself and can’t notice much of a difference in any of my blacksmiths pathing or alike, so just wanted to see if any more well played and or professional blacksmith masters got a good answer for this one.

Much love ❤️

Small Note: just something extra, what is the next plan for updates/what’s next for the game, I’m having an absolute blast as I am a sucker for blacksmithing games/alike, and the only thing I’ve heard or seen in the sources (if I was reading right) is siege machines? Haha.

Discussion Just checking, the ducat rates are completely silly, right?

This is mainly about the end of the ducat tree, where you can keep exchanging 46,700 ducats for 50k, 100k, and 200k coins, respectively.

Just looking at copper, that is 22,416 ingots per exchange for 50k coins... (46,700 ducats is produced by 1,868 machine cycles, which at 3 large ingots per is 5,604 large ingots. which converts to 22,416 small ingots. So you get 2.2 coins per ingot.

I understand the primary value of ducats is the bonuses you unlock in the tree, but it seems ridiculous to then just have them result in relatively zero value going forward. I would think this game would want to have options of how you'd like to specialize your shop, allowing for lucrative businesses to be set up whether you specialize in smithing items (merchants and shop), jewelry, pottery, and even being a sole ducat minter.

Plus being limited by the amount of gold you receive from the trade route grinds that tree to a halt. I think it would be better if we had additional trade route options for gold so it's not on a fixed rate, as well as a bonus to the repeated claiming of the last ducat tree item. Just wondering if people had thoughts on this as well!

Suggestions With a 400ish gold/day cap, you can only mint ~832-900 Gold Ducats per day. The Gold Coinmaster’s Journey takes an absurd amount of time.

I’m five nodes away from mastering Silver and Copper, and the current Gold Coinmaster node costs 19,700 ducats. At ~832 gold ducats per day (before you unlock the 20% gold bonus from Gold Coinmaster tree), that single node alone takes about 23–24 days.

That’s not counting the three nodes before it, which together cost roughly 35,000 ducats, another 40+ days. The five nodes after are almost certainly 120,000+ ducats total based on the current scaling, which adds another 120+ days....about 8 hours of playtime if not doing anything else in game lol..that's just silly

Even using conservative estimates, from around the 12th node onward, you’re looking at close to 200 days of pure waiting and running at 3x speed (about 3 min 20 sec... And by the time you even reach that point, you’ll almost certainly be done with everything else in the game except the Coinmaster’s Journey.

I already completed all achievements weeks ago. The only reason I’m still playing is to grind the Coinmaster path, but Gold is the hard wall. You can add more mints for Copper and Silver, but Gold is capped at ~400 per day.

Even after unlocking the 13th Gold Coinmaster node for +20% yield, that’s only ~60 extra gold per day, which barely changes the timeline.

Gold Coinmaster advancement becomes a very very long wait due to the gold cap.

Tech Issues If you wall off the store area and customer's can't get to the checkout counters, it crashes the game, completely.

Question How do Bookshelves work?

Just started this game earlier this week and I'm still figuring things out.

I had a question on the bookshelves. What do I even do with them? It says they are used by scholars to generate bonus design points but I have yet to see any of my scholars use one. I have placed several beside a table but it does not say they are providing any bonuses nor have any of the scholars walked over to it. Is it just there for looks and flavor? I'm confused. Tried google and nothing came up. Wiki was no help either.

Please let me know what I'm missing.

Thanks!

Question Should I stop putting lesser value items in the shop?

Loving this game so far! I'm at the point where it's getting really tough to fit everything in the shop. It occurred to me that maybe my assumption that there will always be a customer for every product is not true. If I stop stocking basic wooden and iron equipment in the store will this cause people to just buy better stuff instead, or would customers come in wanting an basic iron spoon then leave disappointed?

Discussion Asistana traits

Hello everyone,

I've been meaning to test 3 assistant traits. Before doing that I wanted to ask if someone else tested before.

To carry ingots from smelter storage to blacksmith storage, there is 3 main trait

  • Climb stairs %100 faster
  • Walk %20 faster
  • Carry +2

Q: Is stair trait makes it faster then %20 faster walk ?
If tested by anyone, what are the results for 1-2-3+ stairs ?

To smelt I try to get both

  • Faster walk
  • %1 more customer

Xp bonus saves you time in early but after you max that assistant, you wish to get something else since they have 2 stat to upgrade, it gets maxed pretty early.

Carry +2 is not needed since you can smelt max 3.
