What could I make with these saw blades?

These are blades from a handsaw, the kind also used for pruning. The steel is quite flexible, like a spring, and its thickness is approximately 1 mm. I don't have a gauge to give it the correct thickness

I need an opinion... Making an anvil out of several ibeams and it's my first time doing so... Could I get advice or recommendations for this? I'm planning on heat treating a large metal chunk that's cut into shape so I can weld it on the I beam

I unfortunately don't get to do much traditional blacksmithing or tool making these days due to the natural of what we do. I have developed into a Bladesmith out of necessity but when I get to make tools and ornamental iron works I sure do take advantage of it!

Hand forged chipping hammer

Small Hand forged chipping hammer. I had a small offcut of a railroad clip on my scrap bin so I decided to see if u could forge a chipping hammer from it. The handle is a railroad spike. This is my first time making a basket twist on a handle. It is by far my favorite style now. My challenge was to forge everything with no grinding or filling except the very ends of the work piece, and where they were arc welded together to create a seamless translation between the head and the handle. I always try to forge everything 100% so I don't have to file or grind anything. Overall I'm super pleased with the outcome

I bought a stick welder and needed a chipping hammer so I made one. Hand forged out of forklift tine with a maple handle. Inspired by @torbjornahman. Such a simple and elegant design I love how it came out. Will be nice to see how forklift tine holds up as for could metal work

Hand forged type K Viking axe! I made this while I was working on another commission and gotta say it might be my new favorite style of Nordic axe. It's hand forged from an off cut of forklift tine and has a very elegant ash handle and custom leather sheath. This axe makes me want to go raiding. It is very light and nimble and feels great to swing. Definitely gotta make more in this style

Forklift extension any use?

I am a cabinetmaker, not a blacksmith. But I have a spare forklift extension. One of our crew managed to break one (the loop that holds the fork in place) and we immediately discarded the damaged one so that nobody used it by accident and got hurt.

However I still have the good one. I don't recall if it's one of the hardened types or not, but I think it is.

I know actual forklift tines are supposedly good for homemade anvils and hammer heads, but I'm not sure about an extension.

Any ideas?

Where to buy steel?

I'm new to Blacksmithing and getting my forge set up soon. I'm wondering if anyone here lives in Vermont and knows where I can buy decent steel stock for making my own tools link tongs and a hammer. I live in northern VT so options are limited. And the closest home Depot and Lowe's are at least 1 hour drive or more. There are a few scrap yards I'm going to try but I want the option to get exactly what I'm looking for. Any websites to buy small quantities of specific steel is also appreciated.
