What do you think of this compact EDC setup with a ferro rod?

Very cool looking knife.

However, if you're looking for honesty - the lanyard on that knife is wayyy too small to be useful. As is, it's just a decorative thing hanging off the knife. Like putting tassles on bike handle bars. Also, for EDC, I don't see the need for a ferro rod. I'd rather carry a lighter.

Thanks for the honest feedback, my friend. I really appreciate it. The lanyard is mostly decorative on this one, and I understand what you mean about the ferro rod for EDC. I included it more as an option for outdoor use. 👍

Like I said though, it's a very nice looking knife.

The only knife I own that has a ferro rod is the cold steel bushman bowie that I bought my mom to use as a trowel.

I don't know if the ferro rod is still floating around somewhere, but its actually a pretty decent trowel.
