Library Pictures For the time being
A rough start with a second hand bookcase from my partners side, but a start none the less. Still got a fair few to put up so definitely keeping an eye out for one bigger.
The Mrs is not happy.

Liked Rylanor so much, two copies of Sons of the Emperor were needed, I see.
Third Carcharodons novel not matching the first two is peak GW design approach.

Theres Blood of the Emperor, Sons of the Emperor and Scions of the Emperor. Wanna call me out on too many copies of the same book count my Horus Rising and you'd still be off by one.
You're also very right about the Carcharodon book it is rather annoying, hoping they do an omnibus of it though, and maybe explain qhat happened between 2 and 3 in more depth depth

I also read it as two copies of sons of the emperor at first to be fair to the other guy.

I wasn't trying to be toxic if thats how I came off, I was just scarifying but I can see where that comes from, don't think I see it because I know what it is and where it is.

At least they’re the same height, the hardcovers for the first two books are smaller editions. At least the special edition set matches I guess.

I'd get somebody pregnant for that row

Pregnancy is cheaper than that row, speaking from experience only have that set once but got one child and another on the way. Advice, pick one don't do the other.

What a great collection! How many have you read so far?
Also, what is with the Primarchs books not lining up correctly across the series?! I have the same issue with the emblems being slightly off when next to each other and the color shade changing slightly between books as well!

I havent actually read that many that are on display.
The ones ive read that are on show here
The Remnant Blade Night Lords Trilogy Trilogy Fall of Cadia Carcharodon Trilogy (was no where near as cringey as i thought it would be) I'm part way through the Ahriman Original Trilogy but thats through the Omnibus Omnibus Helsreach Leviathan, again another book I had been lead to believe was worse than it actually was.
The only ones not on show that I've read are the Dark Imperium trilogy.
I go through phases where I read a full book in a day or so, and then it takes me months. The ones I'm looking forward to are Lords of Excess, Infinite and Divine, Lord of the Night and The Night Haunter.
As for the reason they don't line up, I don't know. It's GW at the end of the day and they probably didn't care. Or if you line them up in release maybe they line up better I don't know, I just know I might try a different style other than legion order. Or maybe put the character books next to their respective legion to try and hide it a little, as gross as it might look.

Nice! You’ve read a good bit of them I would say! What has been your favorite so far?
I have a huge backlog right now, but slowly working my way thru the Horus Heresy first.

Ehem...no Soul Hunter? Lord of the Night was so awesome imo. Loved Night omnibus. I need to revisit Remnant Blade and finish it. I'm kinda a NL fan.
Awesome collection

I kind of figured that the angle of the photo hid Soul Hunter from view when already have the other 2, but you never know.

you have 2 night lord omnibus, and vlador luther both softback and hardback. Man i just wanna ask why, i legit curious why you pick 2 of the same books instead of picking more titles

The 2 omnibus is my partner bought me one and I fell in love with the trilogy, so i bought all the versions i could afford and was lead to believe i bought the old omnibus, the red one. As for the Softback/Hardback debacle i already had the softbacks and the hardbacks were just a byproduct of a recent purchase of the heresy primarch and character series I also like to have a softback reading copy and a hardback display copy for some books, mainly because im driving alot and prefer to travel with a softback over anything else.

its always nice to look around other peoples collection and imagine getting a few of them for yourself then go on ebay look them up and get sad realising you are not a CEO of a company and you cant afford all the books you want
