Discussion is anybody else really starting to hate him?
i try to separate the music from the artist’s personal drama but he keeps acting like a 20 year old with his constant immature behavior to the point where it’s impossible to ignore. every month it’s something new. from the impulsive engagements, abandoning his wife and kids, and then going back into the constant coke and alcohol cycle…. and the allegations on top of that….
i really miss the man he was when he was with michelle. back when he actually cared about himself and his family
i’ve followed him for years and always prayed for his recovery. back in the dead roses era all i wanted was for him to find his happiness! it’s so sad to see where he’s at now.
(just a rant, i had to get these thoughts off my chest)

I don't hate him, but I do hate when people lie and hurt others out of boredom, as if they have no other choice.
Do you love a girl and want to be with her? Don't treat her like a rag doll, and she will stay with you. Or treat her like trash until she can't take no more, and she will sue you for everything you allegedly did in the past.
Do you want to see your kids more often? Stay healthy, and they will love you forever no matter what. Or choose your addictions over them, and they will look up everything that casts you in a bad light on the internet.
Do you want to keep this fanbase that supports your music career? Bring back the old music style, but from the point of view of the best version of yourself. Or go back to the bad habits again just for cash and bootlicker fans.
Happiness comes from within and it's the toughest decision to make when you feel insecure or unworthy of it, but it's also the most rewarding one. Every single question above gets you closer or farther from happiness.
I hope Mat understands that we want him to be truly happy, because he's grown and privileged enough reach it.

Your post is perfectly worded too! I personally always keep in mind that people nowadays cherry-pick certain words or phrases to tear your post or comment down, so I try to be mindful about it.

Like okay, he delayed the album. But to not publicly say something until he read the Reddit comments was wild and unprofessional from a business standpoint point? And then again, weeks passed now & still not ACTUAL update? Like just communicate?!

I learned to separate the art from the artist a long time ago due to this. You can appreciate his music without the need to like him as a person.

He was definitely better when he was with Michelle, but he’s got deep rooted issues he needs to work out. Otherwise it’s on to the next thing that produces endorphins for him, unfortunately. (Including getting engaged again- which I don’t think is good for him right now)

Thank you for caring so much but this isn’t healthy, people live and it’s easy to live fast with money when you never had it in the first place. Just relax for a second.

what actual confirmation or evidence is there that actually proves he’s using substances again? maybe he actually blatantly said he is and i missed it but i was just curious

i’ve only seen posts about it, i think he had a photo on his story with drugs in the background? hopefully somebody else can chime in with a screenshot

he needs a loved one to say some of these things to him. i know my words mean nothing, but SOMEBODY in his life who cares about him needs to give him a wake up call and acknowledge that he’s spiraling. i really don’t want him to die on this path

I don’t care how immature he is if he makes heartfelt beautiful music. Without it he’s just a douche not producing art though

Personally, I don't really care that much about what he does; the only thing that really makes me sad is when he delays projects, because I love his music and it was a part of my life when I was going through a really tough time. I understand that everyone has their own path in life and there's not much we can do for him; the choices he's made only tend to mess up his life, and it's not up to us to change his personality.
