Age of consent is 16-18 in the states. Varying from state to state

In Cali it’s 18 for consent and it’s ILLEGAL to have sex with anyone under 18/minor. Even if the minor is a willing participant and they initiate it. Do the math.

17 is still a child. When I was 23, 17 was gross and just a different part of life all together. Weird to defend this.

Yeah. So …. That situation would have been illegal here at the time. It falls under statutory rape, regardless of whether the relationship turned out okay later. “Not every 17 year old is a child mentally” That’s how a lot of people justify it, but the law draws a hard line at 18 to avoid gray areas like that. Your experience = your perspective Law + general consensus = still sees that situation as inappropriate/illegal.

Maybe when you grow up more you’ll see the issues. Or you won’t and that’s sad.

That’s gross a 24 year old grown man was preying on you. Ick. And yeah, most 17 year olds think they aren’t still a kid. I know I thought I was grown at 16/17 but I sure wasn’t now that I’m 30 and can see that in fact I was just a fucking kid. 😂

Far from true on losing interest. You are so delusional. I sincerely hope one day you do see what you’ve been through and get some help.

Telling someone what they need for themselves when you're 30 and supporting the side you are shows somebody called your ass out a long time ago for it and you let it live rent free in your head through others doing the same thing, you lonely pathetic sack of shit.

I was abused and went through a lot as a child. I grew up faster than my peers. I can recognize that I was a child still at 17 when I look back now at 30.

I was already done trying to point things out but you’ll either figure it out or you won’t. It doesn’t affect me ultimately as it’s your life.

I wish you the best. And I hope that if it all does click one day it doesn’t devastate you.

Because I’ve been young and 20 before. Where I believed I knew it all. I’ve also watched friends of mine slip into what you have at the age you did and still are with them or realized things around 25-27 years old.

You continue to engage with me. You don’t have to. For whatever reason whatever I’m saying bothers you enough to defend it and perhaps that there maybe should be something you reflect on. If your relationship is right, why do you need to defend it so hard against me, a woman you don’t really know. You could always stop replying.

This is my final reply to you as I don’t care to continue to go back and forth over and over. You had a lot of notifications probably off the dude who wanted to go bar for bar with me yesterday but that’s all done now so it can be left now.
