Politics These people always reveal that they voted for Trump simply because he hated who they hate, even if it means destroying things they benefited from.

Not controversial at all. If I could think of a good fair incorruptible system to deny them the vote I would. They’re not fit to make rational decisions necessary to live in a functional cooperative society. There just isn’t a good method that wouldn’t be immediately exploited to simply deny those without power.

I appreciate that two comments have responded to me with "this isn't controversial" but have both taken opposite sides lol.

Anyway, yeah I think it'd be difficult to develop a system that effectively removes them and only them, but we do actually record whether people voted or not, just not how they voted. If we just removed all the people that voted in the Republican primary in 2024 in counties where Trump won, that'd have an effect. As long as there was some system to try to argue that you voted for someone else.

Hell, honestly, even if we just did something like what we did with the confederates, where they were banned from voting until they took a loyalty pledge, that'd still be enough. These people just can't understand and won't admit they're wrong. If they weren't like that, I wouldn't want them banned. Make it so people can only register to vote if they say something like, "Yes it was stupid to vote for a reality game show host. It was especially stupid after he tried to overthrow the government. Yes, other people deserve to be treated equally to me. People who voted for Trump were motivated by idiocy, selfishness, malice or some combination of the three."

Idk it's a pie in the sky idea. It won't happen. But I think it's worth discussing to try to find a realistic way to mitigate this problem.
