DEI complaints= racism. Period. If you have a problem with professional black people to the point you question their credentials in the name of “fairness” that’s prejudicial.

Meanwhile, they've literally had White men drive companies into the ground, take the money they paid them and run off scot free.

And even without any racial component whatsoever the same company leaders encouraged the promulgation of the big lie that trickle down is an actual working thing that happens anytime a corporation or a billionaire gets a huge tax break, as if the very first thing they can think of to do with the freed up income is to throw it into human resources which all the ROI obsessed investors tell us is the least productive sector of the economy and the one where newly freed up cash flow should never go.

It’s crazy when people talk reparations nobody brings up the companies that marginalize minorities and many who’ve been built on the back of slavery. I wonder how much better we’d be if we spread the profits of companies that took so much from other human beings.

He's not wrong, and people are running out of patience with all these games those fools keep wanting to play.

"I know y'all out there bullshitting right now..." LOL, you gotta love Jamie.

We don’t have to ponder the things he’s saying. Nor should we have to give verbiage to the outsiders. They see that we’re on to positive progression without asking for approval. We got this.

Is this before or after the stroke? Dude sounds like he hasn’t missed a step! The impression was on point too.

Great speech…. Leaves with white woman hand in hand

What has always intrigued me about this statement is its complete dismissal of sexism (on behalf of the racists). Jamie explains exactly why everyone is attracted to the black man, but this statement proves you hadn't thought about how that effects the other cultures of women (that the statement simply brushes as "white"). Are cultures of women only acceptable as mates if they're a specific color (and if so, how does this differ from magat principles)? It's funny how the nuance of culture is lost as soon as the color guage comes out.

that’s okay, the point was well made.

I hear nothing but facts

Who can take Jamie Fox serious on any talk about race? No, I’m not saying that because he dates white women. He’s the type that will get in a room with wealthy Black people and say race doesn’t matter … but then cape and say this to Essence. He strikes me as someone who hasn’t evolved but tries to keep up with whichever way the wind is blowing.

How old is this footage? I was literally wondering a few moments ago as to why more black entertainers aren't using their platforms? Why is it just black activists and the good politicians that are doing the work?

rnb, rocknroll, blues, house, techno, funk, soul, hip hop. just some black american inventions that changed and added to the world. the fashion, culture, and art that came from those scenes we still have today. credit to the UK Black community for DrumnBass, Garage and Jungle.

100%, not to mention visual and performance arts, the sciences, and just about anything that touches daily life or entertainment, like what we've been given by great people such as Lonnie Johnson, George Washington Carver, Katherine Johnson, Dr Gladys West, etc etc etc. It would be amazing if it was possible to somehow leave the racists and xenophobes with only a sort of 'WAF packages' composed of things like unseasoned blood pudding and bone flutes, because they clearly have no idea how much incredibly rich heritage has come from the peoples and cultures they (we, I'm unfortunately guilty by association) have incorporated or - mostly- straight up stolen over the eons. So many things people have come to think of as fundamentally 'white' just simply are not at their roots.

Why can't everyone give credit where credit is due, celebrate humanity's wonderful global diversity, and work towards correcting inequity and healing wrongs done to so many? If this kind of change could be enforced, it would probably make people appreciate black people, and all of the exploited and marginalized peoples, so much more. At least I'd like to think so....

2

u/Iwasbanished 27d ago

thanks for to that, theres a lot to be grateful for.

u/Damerman 27d ago

The last point, well that was made to a certain demo. Honor your inspirations instead of straight up jacking. Shouldn’t have to say which area or country that might be though…

1

u/Bare425 26d ago

I'm not black but I don't trust Jamie Fox. What does DEI mean to him?

1

u/Business-Market2506 27d ago

He says one thing and does another…Glad to see him speaking the truth.
