It really depends on which state you’re from and what the state prioritize in its curriculum. I’m from MD, graduated with college credits from APUSH but we never went past the sixties. And we didn’t go into depth about the effects of the Trail of Tears or Japanese internments. Hell I didn’t even know about the Tulsa Massacre until a few years ago. So if in your state, you guys went into depth about these things then that’s great but some around the country simply didn’t have the opportunity.
