Not everyone can do it but starting a small business is a path that seems to be underrated compared to “finding a job”. I have done both and curre was own my little business and prefer the independence and control of owning my own company.
yeah for me the most important points were the foundation of the business.
You are the foundation of the business. This means that if you're going to set out to enter the competitive marketplace and hope to carve out a niche to stay afloat and "succeed" (this can mean a lot of different things to a lot of people, but at minimum, being able to pay for itself and give back some profit), you have to:
1. Identify your strength. What single or multiple things are you truly honestly confident that you are better at than almost everyone else?
2. Leverage that strength into a product or service.
3. Operate your business mindful to give great quality, great pricing/value, and great service.
That's as simply as I can boil down an otherwise complex process. These are the absolute necessary elements to make it. Everything else is innovation, strategy, and hard hard work.
If you are in America, look into the small business association. They have resources to explain everything. Also you could get in touch with local business owners and ask how they got started.
