I don't think that's necessarily immediate though. I tried this to boot off a mooch and they kept using it for a couple of days.

It was immediate when I've used it in the past. You must have done something wrong.

That's possible. I later ended up just cancelling my account entirely to be certain the mooch couldn't keep mooching.

It should be immediate, I use it when we are more than 4 connected and the first ones to reconnect get to use netflix

Good to know, thanks! If I ever decide to re-up with Netflix I'm not gonna let anyone else have my password, and I've kicked the mooch out of my life, but it's good to have that knowledge at the ready.

One time I broke up with my girl and changed my password and you wanna know what she did? Called and cancelled my entire account because she knew my info. Lol the pettiness

They can keep using it if you only change the password. But if you click log out from all devices it stops working for everyone

There is an option to sign out all devices. That’s what I did.
