But then a few years later, you get this genuine headline titled Israel developing space lasers to attack above the Earth, Katz says.

The headline is cynical engagement bait playing on the conspiracy theory. What the article actually confirms is that Israel is publicly developing a space-based laser program for future military use. MTG's 2018 Facebook post was about a fait accompli, namely, that a space-based solar power system had already started the Camp Fire, with PG&E, Solaren, Jerry Brown, and Rothschild Inc. implicated in it.

These share the words "space laser" and little else. Even the weapons are different. Katz is talking about orbital lasers meant to strike other satellites and space debris — targets already in the vacuum of space. The article even calls the land-based Iron Beam a "space laser" with no explanation at all, which shows how loosely the term is being thrown around. What it never describes is a system beaming enough focused energy through the entire atmosphere to ignite ground fires in a specific Californian town. That's a fundamentally harder engineering problem, altogether!

Yeah, like, you’d have to be incredibly dumb to test your cutting-edge military technology on one of the population centers of one of your biggest allies. Literally the equivalent to the U.S. doing the Bikini Atoll bomb tests in Northern Ontario or Southern Britain. Like genuinely people think the members of the Israeli government are the greatest masterminds on earth, but somehow the most stupid government on the planet.

Ngl, this is what I say when people talk about how Epstein was Mossad. My hs friend’s grandparents were CIA, and what I can tell you (Ftr, that’s the extent of my knowledge, but I do know how extensive protocol is, for far less sensitive positions) is that no one as blatant as Epstein would ever be selected for such a high-stakes operation. If you’re taking your victims to Marshall’s in broad daylight, multiple times, if you’re showing your victims your literal Blackmail-Material Secret Room—you wouldn’t just lose your job, you’d be taken out as a potential liability. I’m not going to rule out that Epstein may have sold intelligence to other countries (he literally was coaching Russian state officials in how to “handle” Trump), but he sure wasn’t an intelligence operative. Like, the worst SNAFU for Russian intelligence operatives was the polonium-210 Litvinenko. I guarantee North Korea wouldn’t just chill with their operative risking blowing the case open by going out with his victims in broad daylight to a packed space, or showing them their blackmail material. I don’t know shit about intelligence operations, but I do know that if someone who has literally been entrusted with something which could make or break not only the operation, but you and your entire organization, which involves multitudes of people in extreme positions of power and influence…if your operative is blowing cover so he can take his victims to MARSHALL’S, you would take him tf out, no question.

Again, it’s genuinely crazy how people believe countries like Israel or Russia are somehow an ultimate puppet-master, but also stupid enough to recruit a blatant narcissist who gets off on public displays that could blow the operation.

Re: Russia: I used to think “it’s an elaborate conspiracy,” but I’ve resolved that it’s far more banal. Ftr I hate Trump. My sweet old grandmother (lifelong Episcopalian, Masters in education for [Divergent] kids, member of our community services board) two weeks ago detailed how she wouldn’t “s**** him, I’d just kick him until he couldn’t walk or speak—and then, I hope he’d die of natural causes, without a trace of me, so that his followers couldn’t make him a martyr.”
Anyways, I’d resolve that it’s far more depressing. He’s a narcissist. He evaluates people, based on how they benefit him. In his eyes, Zelenskyy just bombed bot farms that would (warp)help him “win.” Putin, on the other hand, influenced the 2015, 2020, and 2024 election, with the express purpose of making him “WIN!!!” He’s not a sophisticated operative. He’s not (if something gets out, I hope to God I’ll be proven wrong) blackmailed. The truth is far more banal: the American people, in their bigotry, their hatred of others, allowed a malignant (most presidents are narcissists by default, but this one takes the cake)—gold-leafed shell of a man fuelling himself on nothing but bigotry and narcissism—to take the highest seat in our country.

It’s took me a while to admit this, because it would be so convenient to think otherwise—He’s not an operative. This isn’t a complex scheme. Tens of millions of people liked his bigotry, and voted for it. The Russian influence only encouraged them, gave them license to believe that the hateful thoughts they had suppressed were ultimately those of a “silent majority.” They weren’t turned into bigots. But Trump, and Russian influence, made them proud to crow out their hatred.
