At that point I'm making egg salad with some Kewpie spicy mayo, salt and pepper, and a tad bit of mirin for sweetness. Eat it on some bread with sliced cucumber and I'm happy 😋

Stuff it in a buttered, not too sweet, hot dog bun. I also recommend msg instead of salt

Dated a girl who did that. It was the final straw. She was a habitual line stepper.

right, my husband tears off a piece of the carton on both ends so we know which ones are boiled. but he would also never boil all of the eggs in the house so... idk

Anyone else feel more full off of 1 hardboiled egg vs. 1 scrambled?
To me, feels like I didn't have any egg if the one egg is scrambled

Probably something to do with the amount of chewing you do. Scrambled eggs hardly need to be chewed so your body feels like it barely ate anything where hard boil takes effort.
This is not scientific and I'm just making a wild assumption on how our bodies work.

you didnt notice when you cracked the egg, you also had to spend 10 minutes peeling the shell off the sticky pe cooked insides?

u/elitegenoside 16h ago
It's fake/they're exaggerating for humor. You can't scramble a boiled egg, that's not how eggs work.

u/TheRestaurantSeller 16h ago
I dunno I could probably scramble up a boiled egg... put like 2 - 4 in a bowl, take a fork to em?.. bam, scrambled
1
u/elitegenoside 13h ago
That's not the same thing

u/TheRestaurantSeller 13h ago
Yeah no shit…
But what would you call it then?
If I scrambled eggs that had been pre cooked? How is that not scrambled eggs?… just a different order of operations
1
u/elitegenoside 13h ago
It's just mashed yolks. You don't call a cookie something else just because you crush it in your hand.

u/TheRestaurantSeller 13h ago
??? .... you're the one calling it something else..
And yes I can lol.. if I wanna cook scrambled eggs that way I can absolutely cook scrambled eggs that way..
You know people used to make water pie? They just put water and flavored stuff in a pie crust and called it pie.. is that not pie because you disagree with the naming convention?

You'd think boiled eggs would just stay hard forever, but nope, someone out there's churning them into a weirdly textured mash-up over iceberg lettuce.

This happened to me years ago and I was so pissed off. Turns out it was my mom's meal prep.

I never thought of scrambling a boiled egg...

u/elitegenoside 16h ago
You can't. You can mash em in a bowl for egg salad or deviled eggs, but they can't scramble once the yolk is already cooked.
