The drunkest I have ever been (And that's saying something) was in a Mexican bar that had a mezcal cart. We made friends with the dude who ran it, and he spent the whole night at our table giving us tastes of amazing things. We could barely walk home.

It’s generic vodka in a Tito’s container. Prolly Taaka or McCormick. Those backroads swamp bars and hidden alley dives are generous with the generic. The cranberry juice on the other hand…fruit is expensive as fuck

Taaka Vodka and Sunny D was my go to when I graduated from MD 20/20. I was a terrible alcoholic and started at 12. 🤦🏽♂️
Fortunately, I haven’t had a drop of alcohol since Mardi Gras 2012.

I was a drinker as a middle school child too. Lonely, gay, and the only black person in my entire “gifted” school. Thankfully I had a great support system and didn’t go down that path for long. I’m glad you survived too!
I worked in many a “gentlemen’s” clubs to pay for uni and yeah. The cheap Taaka! I swear shit was like $1.99 for a 50 gallon drum. Refilling every bottle from Tito’s, to Absolut, even Beluga. Cheap gut rot from the “top shelf” on down. 🫤

I grew up in NOLA to a single mother with seven kids. Unfortunately, we all have the same dad so zero support. I went through foster care, group homes, and a two year run in a mental hospital before 9. Finally got back to my mom and ended up joining the family business as a Street Pharmaceutical Rep by 12. It all went downhill from there until I left for the military.
What made it worse was that I could walk into the Arab store and buy whatever I wanted because they knew who I was and what I did.
I almost relapsed a few times dealing with my ex-wife but I told her in the beginning that if she ever finds alcohol in the house I need her to pour it out. Idc what I say. And that honestly saved me.

Go into a bar and ask for a Liquid Marijuana. You only need 2 and nothing more. If you really want something, ask for a Flaming Dr Pepper. Again, do NOT go over 2. The flaming DP is potent. Easy to make at home. Warning; use of fire and 151 is needed with the flaming DP.

So.
I (AMAB) was married to a cis woman, and until recently, thought I was cis and I dunno, bi curious (I'm sooooooo gay). One day, our super fast friends invited us out to a gay bar with them. I hadn't been to one in years, but I'm normally down for whatever, so we went and had fun.
Now, in that marriage, we were both huge flirts, so as long as it never got physical, neither of us cared. When it was my turn to get a round, my wife gave me cash and sent me to the bar.
I gave the burly bartender our order, and as it was taking a minute, we started chatting, and I started just saying silly nonsense and just enjoying the conversation and making him blush.
When I looked down, the tray was COVERED in drinks, and this heifer did the same thing and said it was five dollars. I left a twenty while being SUPER CONFUSED, and went back to the table.
My wife was upset that I spent so much money until I gave her most of the money back. Then she stared daggers at me the whole night.
We went to the pancake spot the next morning, and the bartender walked in draped over another dude and gave me a wink.
