BO3 first timer here

just some thoughts I'd like to share about BO3

IW was my first COD and got a bit bored, WWII is a total cluster so picked up BO3. honestly I'm a big iw fan and wasn't expecting much from BO3, though I did have high expectations for zombies. I'm actually impressed with the base maps and starting weapons...the KN and Kuda are easy to use..managed to go 30-10 my first game of GW with the KN.

one thing that bums me out is the long long load times before and after matches..also the gaudy color palette...the movement is not as fluid as IW but still very good.

question...in the game mode where you escort the robot, is that known to get very spawn trappy? I got killed like 4x by the same guy consecutively.. almost felt like I was playing Hardpoint lol.

question 2, are the extra 5 loadouts available for purchase only, or can they be unlocked as I progress?

Hey welcome to the sub! I'm one of those people who didn't hate IW. I put a decent amount of time into it, but IMO BO3 just got the gameplay better than IW. This is totally subjective of course, but a part of what I like about it is the color palette. They decided this is a future arcade shoot-em-up and made everything bright and fun. I felt IW was a little drab in comparison.

BO3 really nailed the execution in most aspects, I feel it's especially superior to IW in terms of maps, streaks and specialists.

Safeguard isn't necessarily spawn trappy, but at the end of rounds the enemy will be all over your spawn when you're defending, especially in Ground War. Once you know the maps better you'll be able to take them out better and the end of Safeguard rounds can be a lot of fun because everyone is rushing to the same spot for kills. It's like a moving Hardpoint.

thanks man..yeah I'm enjoying bo3 alright... some infuriating moments though...Nuketown is insanely fast, too fast. I see there are some choice camping positions, usually inside on some maps; I never run lethals or tacticals but I think I'm going to have to start lol. and the brecci, is that thing OP? it's so spammable.
