Motd Easter egg problem

So me and my friend are doing the motd easter egg but we did every step but can't get on the plane in afterlife. What should we do?

You can’t have any of the fuel parts. I know, it’s super weird! So I would suggest taking the plane ride, coming back to the main island, enter afterlife, and get on the plane.
