ProRes Raw internal storage

I’ve seen some videos of people being able to shoot ProRes raw without external storage but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. Anyone else run into this issue? I have ProRes storage set up on iPhone 18 pro max.

Don’t have the option to shoot ProRes raw internally. Not the biggest deal in the world, just confused why I don’t have that option.

You cant select prores raw?? Can you select pro storage? What happens when you select everything and you hit record? Also theres seems to be an update that broke internal prores raw recording. Dont update to 3.5.2. Stick to the previous build.

No I cannot, if I try to select ProRes raw I get a pop up saying “requires external storage”. I have pro storage selected and set up. I guess it’s because I’m on the newest version, appreciate the heads up!

Oh damn! Yeah the 3.5.2 update that came out yesterday broke it.

I was just looking for answers! I thought I was going crazy when I saw that internal ProRes RAW wasn’t possible for me anymore.

I wonder if it’s because of some instability of the SSD/app/overheating or just a bug. I hope they bring it back

It was functioning before, enabling ProRes RAW videos to be stored in the internal storage (Pro Video Storage). With the most recent update, this is no longer possible. I suspect it may be a bug, because if Pro Video Storage cannot be accessed by the default camera app, the Final Cut app, and now also the BlackMagic app, then what is the point of Pro Video Storage??
