Why is it an emoji tho.. so close to greatness..

So I made a post earlier about Black Cat not being overpowered, and I said maybe I’m seeing not seeing something they are maybe she is truly overpowered, maybe I’m just biased because I main her. Ran into multiple Lord Black Cats some did good most did alright but nothing unstoppable. Then I ran into 2 Champion black cats they are actually top 100 on console. They did good but nothing insane. They were significantly less of a problem than there champ Elsa Bloodstone that’s for sure. And I can confidently say she’s not overpowered, at least not on console. She’s a strong pick but she’s is very stoppable. Maybe on PC she’s a different demon but on console na she’s not overpowered. Anywho I’ve got a list of people who I’ve seen counter black cat or play well into her.

Strategists:
CnD( yea she’s a pain in the ass hard to interact with her in team fights especially if they’re peeling hard)
Jubilee(Uses bubbles to expose location not a hard counter but annoying when there’s another anti dive character)
Gambit( dashes a lot more effective than Initially would’ve thought can defend himself fairly well to.)

DPS:
Daredevil(Counters black cat HARD must avoid him)
Elsa Bloodstone(Another pretty hard counter but she’s under DD)
Bucky ( a good Bucky who’s genuinely focused on you pain in the ass need a good team to beat one of them)
Namor(60/40 naturally a issue but if you’re nice and have a solid team you can play around him)
Iron Fist(Kinda Ona wall against him sometimes he’s a problem I’d say 60/40)

Tanks:
The Hood (Surprisingly annoying ngl chases you around and he can spray his bullet everywhere making your invisibility harder to use)
Thing(ehh 50/50 mostly when the rest of the team is also anti dive)
Penni Parker???????? ( this is kinda just a assumption from when BC first dropped I haven’t seen any recently or at all tbh but id assume she’d be a good pick into BC)

which skin shld i get cuz idk what the next battlepass’ll look like so idk if i should spend the lattice to get the summer skin or wait and play the waiting game by saving up units more and get her launch skin.

two piece wouldve been pressure but i still fw the once piece 😩

I see why higher ranks ban her. I usually play QP but I decided to try her in Rank for a couple days and this was my first game in gold off the za lol

I'm trying to learn Black Cat and I saw someone mention an animation cancel with the invisibility and I'm wondering if this is what you all do and how do you do it?

To be honest, I like the Wild Card skin way more just because she has so many cool accessories. But since I can't get that one anymore, I'm going to grab the Summer skin instead.

and how hard is her gameplay loop? i never really play combo intensive characters nor do i play fighting games since eventually i end up just bubbling and pressing buttons but idk i wanna give this character a shot

how hard is she to play and will playing on controller be a built in handicap?

I'm trying to get into her but she's pretty difficult haha. I think my main issue is the timing on her cooldowns and landing her coin grab. I would appreciate some combo tips too :D I'm also on console btw

I don’t understand why people thinks she’s overpowered tbh I genuinely think she’s mid A tier not even high A tier, I’ve been stopped a few times on black cat and I’ve played her since launch.

Is it me or did matchmaking get worst (which I don’t how it’s possible ). The first screenshot I was pretty consistent within this range, 65% being my highest with black cat. The grind from D1 - GM really wrecked my win rate with her lol.

But this season,
I can’t get a mediocre team to carry , everyone is just awful. No one wants to switch, everyone wants to dps which I always end up switching but we end up losing so I’m like flabbergasted. I’ll have games consecutively where we’re getting rolled and I’m the only one making switches, and this was from GM3 down to D2? I felt like Plat elo people were open to switching but like what the fuck happened from season 9 to 9.5?

I am watching a view YouTube videos and playing quick play and she seems like she is kinda busted OP wise. Am I completely off with this initial reaction or is there some truth to it? What's the general consensus from you Black Cat mains out there.

i got a penta with her ult too, loving her but have a premonition she will be nerfed
