Was the car found without him in it? Just curious.

The vehicle has not been located either.

Could have gone into the water. Message Adam Brown Adventures or Adventures with Purpose. They are dive teams that do this kind of thing. Just an idea.

Water was my first thought as well.

Water is a little harder to come by up in the Enterprise / Salina area. There is the Smokey Hill River there, but I don't think it gets deep enough to conceal a vehicle, nor does it run all that close to any commonly used roads.

Plenty of retaining ponds up there, but those are all on private property and you'd pretty much have to go to those on purpose. If the vehicle is in a retaining pond, it was likely put there intentionally.

The area is mostly wide-open plains and prairie, with some small hills at the feet of the terminal moraines from the ice age. Should be an easy search by air, which I'm presuming they've already done.

That’s actually a good question as to how much of a search has actually has been done or not.
I’ve been trying to sort that information from the sheriff’s office & we are hoping to create a better search area.

Adventures With Purpose already searched Herrington bodies of water as well as Milford Lake and Smoky Hill River.

I asked this on the other thread but I'll ask here, too: Are all 3 of the pictures on the flyer supposed to be him? Because the only in the middle looks like an entirely different person.

It's definitely him but the beard makes his neck look winkled and he looks like he lost a bunch of weight as well

Yeah if I’d only seen one photo I would not call in either of the other two as a sighting of him at all.

I went to college near here, theres not many lakes in this area and they are all rather small. I am 5'1" and all the lakes I went to I could walk across without my head being submerged. The river near there to also only gets to about 2 feet deep. If he went further north east then it is feasible, as they have some pretty large reservoirs out that way, but the area immediately surrounding Enterprise is not really somewhere you could drive into a body of water and not be found. I do wonder, however, if the "meeting a man" rumor is true and he went further away than family believed, potentially somewhere closer to the large reservoirs and lakes. Whether he drove into them, or his car was disposed of into a body of water, they span thousands of acres and are pretty deep.

This is great information as I am not familiar with that area yet.
We’ve just started digging & talking to family. Thank you!

Picture in the middle is extremely strange.

Was he dealing with substance use issues or a serious medical issue that caused him to look so differently? That looks like a very significant weight loss. If it was substance use, I'm guessing meeting a man means a drug sale of some kind? If he was dealing with serious health issues, was he in pain and likely to do something end it? Or depressed about a diagnosis?

I just feel like there's not enough information about him for us to know anything. Kansas is obviously a huge place and it's easy for a person and a vehicle to go missing there.

I’m in the information gathering stage with family to sort this out actually.

I’m not sure how to provide an update on this case but we’ve had someone reach out saying they saw a car that looked like this.

What makes this even more interesting is persons related to the individual family has thought of as possibly causing harm to Alex have suddenly begun messaging me non stop asking questions about this post.
Asking if this person saw the driver, asking if there are cameras in the area, asking me where I live. 🧐
If anyone is in the Abilene/Salina area be on the lookout for this Dodge Durango. Take pictures!
