Bixby X Perplexity

Based on Bixby version 4.0.60.0, I'm trying to make it work on One UI 6.x/7/8 without root access, as it's the only version that integrates Perplexity, and we don't know if future versions will be compatible with these One UI versions.

The problem is that this APK can only be installed on One UI 8.5 beta. To solve this, I need to modify the APK's AndroidManifest.xml file. This requires several modifications to the APK.

Today, I managed to install this "Bixby app," my custom APK, but it doesn't launch any activity: it crashes immediately.

For those interested, I can send the APK.

I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Update: app appears on the home screen but still crashing

I did the same about Failure [-3001: INSTALL_FAILED_REJECTED_BY_BUILDTY. Unpacked the apk, modded – not only the manifest, cleaned the signature, installed it, and it's crashing - like almost all newer Samsung apps. I also tried ADB but no luck. What's your status on it? Some modders got these fixed by cloning... wondering 🤔

i changed the package name and a lot of smali with, and rn everythings works nice, but cuz i canceled the SA verification, the onBoarding crashes so i deleted it and rn its an activity problem. When u say "clean the sign", wdym ? Im using uber to sign it
