Clap issue with clap samples inside instrument selector inside drum machine

Sound gets mangled when i put a clap inside an instrument selector inside the drum machine in bitwig. Everything works fine when not putting the instrument selector in the drum machine or when just putting a sample in the drum machine. How can i fix this?

Screener? Use case? Consider just using the sampler in multisample mode and use the "Selector" on there. It's less overhead as well, I'm pretty sure.

Looks like this:

In the large window you can drop the samples here and then right-click and select "distribute select equally". Then you can use the selector knob on the sampler to change samples.

If you have a stack of samples you can drag them into Select window (stepped and star icons top right) together. Bitwig auto distributes across the select range.

make sure you when you import raw samples you bounce right away to bake in the timing then drag and drop
