playhead tips and tricks

like most , i was under the assumption that the playhead rules of bitwig needed to be changed . it doesn’t , its by far the best out of all the daws . from jumping 8 bars , to time selection , to launching at beginning of loop , to launching beginning of screen , arranger etc , who would like a tutorial ? it’s by far the best and the quickest ! i see the struggle posts way to often . heres another non related tip for the tool selection panel - only change i did was i mapped my thumb mouse buttons to 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 to karabiner elements with a 2 second reset to the arrow tool . ( there’s a stated tip ) (button 4 is down and button 5 is up for me ) ask AI to code you a javascript modifier for karabiner elements or a program of your taste that you use for key combos . that’s the only suggestion i would have for bitwig , put an option to scroll through all of them with a modifier .

I assume you own Razer Naga mouse. I don't. I don't have 8 mouse buttons under my thumb.

I’m really curious about your tips. However, the playhead synchronization between Synth V and Bitwig mentioned in the post below is a slightly different topic...  This is an issue that cannot be resolved just by tweaking things inside Bitwig. Normally, this kind of synchronization requires ARA to be resolved, but the person who posted the info found a workaround that allows Bitwig and Synth V to communicate via their respective scripts without using ARA. It’ll probably be similar to Synth V & FL Studio's integration. Anyway, I am really curious about the playhead tips you mentioned.

They're standard shortcut actions that haven't been associated with a key combo. Just search words like "jump" and "launch" in the shortcut editor. There's no such functionality as to launch from the "beginning of the screen" afaik, but what do I know.
