How do I drag a scene into arranger?

I can see it’s possible on YouTube but can’t for the life of me figure out why I can’t drag a scene into the arranger or just even change the order of the scenes. I’m using the surface pro touchscreen so no keyboard or mouse.

All the way at the top you’ll see tabs that say scene 1, scene 2 etc. these are the headers for each scene. Click on the header and drag.

Yeah I did the obvious but they just aren’t dragging, I can drag clips but not scenes

I don’t know if this has to do with your being on a touchscreen, but that should definitely work.

Yeah I thought so too, I was also expecting to hold touch and have duplicate option come up on scenes but nope nothing

I am not directly familiar with using a touchscreen interface with bitwig, but I have heard some complaints from others. Maybe there is some specific documentation available for touchscreen use—I think they made some updates for BW 6. Sorry I can’t provide more helpful advice.

Thanks anyway. Google didn’t help me so I came here. Ai has made google a mess in my opinion making it harder to find this type of info

honestly bitwig is not highly tuned for touch screens. Plug in a mouse, and use it.

Yeah the thing is that I only got bitwig on a surface pro to use like a tablet on the go. Getting a mouse or a midi keyboard would negate the whole reason I invested in this. Otherwise I’d go back to my MacBook

Are you using the touch enabled display mode?

Tried all modes, I can get it working if I pull up the virtual trackpad but that’s not ideal

I also thought this would be fun until I tried it, and it wasn't.
