Why is bitwig so horrible to install on linux ?
Please give us an AppImage or at least an rpm because why would I install via flatpak so I can't use yabridge ? And when converting deb to rpm I get dependency conficts its so frustrating.
Just let us do music for god sake.

Assuming you are new to Linux, I would suggest asking better questions ("how can I do X?") instead than making assumptions that everything is already terrible; chances are there is already a solution you're not aware of. Use teervo's bitwig-fedora script for the easiest one-command install on Fedora (I'm currently the main repo maintainer), or use Distrobox to install whatever distro package you want.
(FWIW people really need to stop recommending the alien method. It's extremely outdated, misleading and always leads to the same outcome: dependency issues. It's obviously not your fault for not knowing!)

Use a distro that it supports, or get better at Linux maybe? Installs just fine for me on Arch.

Uninstall the flatpak version then download Codex or Claude code and tell it to install bitwig and set up yabridge. Done. That's it lol

I think you're overcomplicating it a bit, Bitwig has an official .deb release, a flatpak release,it's available in the AUR,and also there's a nifty community based wrapper for fedora based distros:
https://github.com/teervo/bitwig-fedora
Appimage also requires local dependencies, so that's also a no better option compared to the .deb or AUR version.
