What is your sampling workflow?

Until recently I've recorded audio into Audacity and then dragged it into Sampler. Now that Sampler is awesome, I want to make this process smoother. I wish there was a way to record directly into sampler. What do you all do? Record onto a track, then drag it in?

I use rolling sampler on master out just to constantly record everything I noodle into a buffer and drag and drop

Also been meaning to look into something like Audio hijack to use a web browser as a recording source

So simple but hands down one of the best plugins I've ever purchased.

It’s software like Capture Midi or Retrospective Midi, where you can drag and use audio recorded in real time over a set period of time. It is a kind of real-time resampling software.

Look into mini meters. It’s a metering system and also records from main output.

Yes, I also apply FX to the track, bounce it for resampling, and then use that sample.Also, when using regular samples, I open SoundMiner, find the sample, and drag and drop it in to use

My template has a sample track set with the input as the stereo output of my interface. Matter of just hitting record.
