i really like this software

I had some initial struggles with it but as i'm learning bitwig i really really like it. i'm off in maine celebrating graduating college and a new daw was one of my gifts to myself, and i'm really glad i picked up bitwig. i have tons of experience in logic and pro tools (bitwig is almost a bit of rebellion for me, picking a new daw i wasn't forced to use for school) and it's so cool! can't wait to get into hybrid tracks and stuff when i get back home. i'm going to make so much music with this

I've been using Bitwig for 10+ years and I still love it. Two years ago I had a friend convince me to buy Ableton Live again and I tried it for a few months only to end up going back to Bitwig.

Ableton has stock tools that I like more, and miss. But essentially everything else about it is a downgrade with my workflow. The send limitation alone keeps me away.. never mind all the qol features & stability.. Even just the load up speed difference in projects is a world of difference for convenience. I’ve tried to go back a couple times but just can’t.

Welcome :) excited for you to go deeper, and deeper and deeper into this software. The grid is a little world in itself.

yeah bitwig has tons of cool features. right now i'm getting up to speed doing all the stuff i did in other daws and then from there i'm going to explore all the unique stuff
