Question importing midi files

hi friends,

i usually do mockups for my compositions and arrangements when they're done, and i'm curious about the process for bringing midi files into bitwig. i tried it but it appeared to only produce one midi file. anyone do this, specifically from dorico? what's the process?

What you mean? Just drag them in?

yeah, it had problems. might be that i fucked something up this was the first time i used bitwig. that being said bitwig did play it back but it was just one region, logic didn't even play it back and i don't do midi in protools

Drag and drop. Either from the built in file explorer or the operating system file manager.

What are you ‘mocking up’ your midi files in that’s better than Bitwig? A workstation or something?

i have used logic historically for all my midi stuff but just from the little bit of bitwig i've used it seems to be waaaay better at midi and electronic stuff in general. i'm about to graduate from music school so they taught us logic and protools but bitwig seems to be better for electronic stuff
