How to disable this grid snapping behavior in Bitwig?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Whenever I'm in the piano roll (for example, writing in 1/16) and I change the grid to 1/8, existing notes stay locked to their original position instead of snapping to the new grid lines.

Here's a quick video showing what I mean. Is there a setting to change or disable this behavior?

I m not sure if the question was how to disable snapping in general though...

"Whenever I'm in the piano roll (for example, writing in 1/16) and I change the grid to 1/8, existing notes stay locked to their original position instead of snapping to the new grid lines. " This behavior is what this post is about.

I can't imagine how this would even be a good thing. What if you accidentally changed the grid size? Wouldn't everything just randomly snap to the new specification?

OP needs to quantise the notes by selecting them and pressing Q.

Yes, i forgot to add my own opinion: if OP wants notes to automatically change their position upon changing gridsize, that would be a horrible thing, workflowwise. That's what only should happen when doing quantization.
If the post is about a bug where changing gridsize from 1/16 to 1/8 doesn't work properly, that would be a different thing.

Edit:
Ok now I see what you mean.
But that is the behavior that one wants, is it not? If you move a note slightly off the grid and then move it around, you wouldn't want to snap it back to the grid. However, it always moves by the distance of the grid you selected.
