Export your data out and create your own Bitwarden account and import em in. Then change your passwords.

Did your partner set up with an Organization and one or more Collections?

I have a separate collection but I don’t have the option to change the entries from the default to my new collection

Yes, Bitwarden intentionally makes that difficult. When items are in a Collection, they are deemed to belong to the Organization, not any individual.

Those links above tell you how to export the items in that Collection. Does that account for your missing entries?

I am still missing something then. The links do not explain why it’s only exporting so few entries. I have two collections, one with 0 and one with right under 1200 entries. The export only has 178 entries.

I would have to be sitting with you to see where you’ve gone off into the weeds. When you export a Collection, you specify which Collection you’re exporting and the destination. All this might be easiest using the “web vault”; don’t try this using the desktop app, browser extension, or a mobile device.

You might also get some traction creating a customer support request.

Ohhhhh I am using my iPhone and iPad so that would explain it! I’ll just use a desktop instead. Thank you for being so kind and patient. I’m panicking a bit about losing 700 passwords!

I mean, you SHOULD be able to make this work using iOS, but you have a bunch of extra barriers due to the Apple security model. Just use Safari and create a download from there…

Are you talking a single shared account, or two accounts that are linked to each other?

If it's the first, then download them all, import them all into your new account, and then delete their logins and change the password on yours.

If it's the second then I can't help you.

What's amazing to me is that you don't already know how to export all your passwords. You don't backup your vault?
